Glad I bought it
You can spend $20 on just a water bladder. Or you can get this and it has a great 2 L water bladder (which is plenty, unless you’re going across the desert) and a very good little day pack. My backpack arrived fast and exceeded my expectations. The first night I filled it up and ‘hiked’ around my house looking for stuff to put in it as just a day hike pack. I had so much fun putting in 2 thermal blankets, rain poncho, emergency bivy sack, scissors, lighter, small bear spray, personal alarm, 4 lunchbox size granola snack bags, and 2 Snickers. Zipped it all up with room to spare and now I feel like I’ve got an awesome little water bladder day pack that has me prepared, just in case something goes wrong. It’s comfy and really well made and the perfect size for a day pack. Room to spare. When I’m using my big Kelty backpack for several days I’ll just pull the water bladder from this and pop it in there.I saw one review that acted like it was hard to bite the water outlet or hard to screw the hose into the bag. I experienced zero problems and no leaks, but it’s still brand new to me. Either way, I’m super happy with mine.

Water while I jog
This was exactly what I needed during the hot Texas evenings on my walk/jog. I walk/jog 4 miles every day in the evening and there were days that I really needed a drink of water to help push me through. This is perfect and I did not have any problems with it. The only thing I did find was that if I didn’t blow the water back in the pack after getting a drink the next drink would be very warm from sitting in the tube.

Happy with the limited amount I use it for
Typically these packs are used for hiking, running, etc. I’ve used them in that past for these activities but haven’t used this specific brand/model. I just have this hanging off my bed for water at night. It does that without issue. I don’t know how well it would work under heavy use though so consider that if you’re buying it for a rigorous activity. It also does seem to slightly leak from the fill hole but only when it’s horizontal.

So disappointed with this hydration backpack. It leaked water all over my stuff ruining some of it. The backpack itself is fine, but the bladder inside is such cheap quality. We brought this one and another brand to a festival and this one was terrible and even became a nuisance having to carry it around soaking wet. The top the screws in should have more threads making it more secure, but if the backpack get tipped over at all water pours out. I had to resist the urge to just throw it away. Will be returning this product.

REALLY like this pack…great quality materials and comfortable to wear but it’s SMALL. I bought it for use as a day pack for hiking but it’s so small, really all you can fit in it when the water bladder is full is a set of car keys, your wallet, and maybe your cell phone! It’s great as a hydration pack only with room for small items but not a great choice for a day pack for hiking…just too small!
