I love this feeder.
This is an amazing feeder, especially for the price. I bought another feeder before this one that was $80 and I hated it, the buttons were hard to function, the instructions were unclear, and I didnât want to deal with customer service so I just returned it. After doing so much research on which could be the best for my cat I came across this one. It was like half the price of the other one and it had good reviews. I also looked online and people recommended this feeder so I went ahead and bought it. It arrived quickly. It was so easy to assemble and clean and the instructions were so straightforward and everything worked perfectly and smoothly. I truly believe for the price this is 100000% worth it.Hereâs a few things that I wish it had though, I wish it would tell you how many ounces are in a portion, which I believe itâs about .5oz a portion so I give 4 portions for my cat for 1/4 a cup. (Not too big of a deal breaker since this was very easy to figure out)I wish it had the thing on top where you could add that desiccant bags, but so far the food seems good still.I wish it had a stand at the bottom so it wasnât so low but I just put a bunch of books under it to make it higher, you can also use a box!So it seems like all the things I wish it had were easily fixable. Save yourself the stress and get this one, the review I found online about this product had this one for years and they said it works perfectly still. Iâve had this for a few months now and I love it and I just love knowing my cat will have the food she needs and wonât be starving, especially when Iâm so busy with work.

Very easy set up and reliable
Weâve had the power go out before and it still goes off and is very reliable. Thereâs several back up options for it to rely on if it gets unplugged, power outage, etc. the cats love it and when it goes off race over to it of course. The time is easy to set and change as well as the food amounts. We have multiple for multiple cats and is working wonderfully. Great for vacations too itâs one less thing for our kitty sitter.

Portion Control Great, Cleaning not so much
The overall function of the dispenser is as described. I really appreciated the ability to be really specific with my cat’s feeding schedule (you can set a schedule that delivers different sized portions). A big caveat is the overall dispensing mechanism, for two reasons: The first is that not all dry food will actually fit. I had some of the Kiwi Kitchens air dried chicken that would not fit, and would jam the machine. The second is that I have not been able to find a way to actually take apart the dispensing mechanism (where the food is stored) to clean it. It is not possible to really clean it as is because of all of the nooks and crannies, as well as electronic components. All in all, it has great functionality but cannot accommodate all dry cat food brands and cannot be cleaned (apart from the serving dish).

I was a bit suspicious about these feeding machines since malfunction results in your pets not being fed while you are away. So, I tested it for 4 months continuously, and to my amazement, it never failed!Setup is easy enough, you can record your voice easily as well, and flexibility (amount and timing) is good.I set up 7 servings to be served twice a day for my 2 kitties, and filled up the container. it lasted over a week.You need to make sure the container holds enough food in it (there is no warning of any kind), and make sure to serve just enough so your pet can finish it before the next feeding time. If there is a leftover, the machine works but it’ll end up not releasing enough food out and/or the dish might overflow.When I unplugged this, it remembered the feeding schedule/servings but the clock and voice recording were reset, so you need to set the clock again and record your voice again.I trust this machine to be on duty all the time as a backup so just in case I cannot come home on time, they will have timely meals every day.One more thing, this is so easy to clean. The dish lifts out easily to clean, and there is no hidden parts in the container that’s hard to reach. Very nice machine!

2 years and still going strong!
Iâve had this feeder for about two years now and havenât had any major issues! The only thing Iâve noticed is that if donât reset the main time on it, it will start to get a few minutes later over than span of a few months. It takes about a minute to update the time and then itâs back to normal again and dispensing at the correct time. I couldnât recommend this enough! It makes feeding times so much easier and helps immensely while we are on vacation or just out and about.

Set it up once when I got it, added batteries and itâs worked ever since!Battery backup is nice so you donât lose your feeding schedule if you have to move the unit.The setup isnât the most user friendly but definitely achievable if you can set the time on a vcr.My cats love it, they know the feeding times now and can be found hovering by this feeder about 45mins before dinner time ð¤£

I love this pet feeder. It is so cool and works better than I would have expected. It was a little confusing to figure out at first even after reading the instructions manual but easy once you get it. I highly recommend. Iâm busy all the time and it is perfect for my two kitties at home on a timed diet when I canât always be there to feed them. I will say though, the portions are really small, I assumed it was meant for one cat but I made it work by doubling the portions for each meal time as I have two cats.

Itâs been one month and still living the dream ! I had to make some minor adjustments, but not because it wasnât sturdy. My cat knocked it off a couple of times and it didnât break. But the bowl didnât work for me, as he chugs every thing in 2 seconds and gets sick. I raised it on a plastic box to be able to use the catit feeder. It works like a charm.Cons :-Time will delay overtime. Itâs been one month and itâs 3 minutes late each meal. You just have to reset the hour, not a real struggle.-it takes time to figure out what portions to set as I know in grams and ml what to give but the instructions doesnât say what one portion equals to. I usually give 2/3cup per day so Iâve set 4 meals, 5am : 2 portions , 12pm: 2 portions, 6pm: 3 and 11pm : 3
