Repurpose glass garden ornaments with these solar lights!
Years ago I bought some beautiful solar powered art glass garden ornaments, but unfortunately the electronics and solar panels eventually deteriorated and stopped working. I kept the ornaments because they were so beautiful and continued using them, though they no longer lit up at night. But when I found these little solar string lights I realized I could revitalize my old garden decoration! I pulled the ornaments apart, unscrewed the old solar panel, pushed the new light string into the glass and tied the new little solar panel to the support. Voila! A working solar powered decoration that I can now use forever by replacing the solar light string once it wears out. The pictures shown are ones using the multicolored light string, but the bright white or mellow gold work just as well. I also used a couple different arrangement with candle holders to place around my garden area or the outdoor dining table. A glass votive candle holder is just the right size to support the small solar panel, with the light string tucking below, inside the glass. Unlike candles, these will light up the table every night, and come on automatically!

I had a bunch of random shaped bottles that I couldn’t figure out what to do with, and this was it. I love the colors! Pastels, look so great around the back of my yard and in my garden. They have held up well, through the sun and rain. They are not lasting all night anymore, maybe 6 hrs. When i first received them, they would be over 8 hrs. I feel they are only gonna get maybe a cpl yrs worth, unfortunately.

Fairy lights are great when they work⦠Packaging is HORRIBLE!
I build fairy light bottles and sell them at craft fairs so I have bought a lot of them. Typically one or two right out of the box is not functioning, however when they do work, they work great. The cheesy gasket that come with it are garbage. I have gone to my own system for keeping the bottle weatherproof. My pet peave is the packaging. The boxes come apart in transit and they are all rolling around loose, EVERY TIME! I will continue to purchase these because they still work well for me when they work, but GET BETTER BOXES!!! Geez!

All of mine work⦠They are bright, and really pretty. So far they all charge in the sun, and come on for the biggest part of the night. I will update if anything changes, but right now I think they are a steel of a deal and really fun.

Very disappointed
The only thing I like about these are the inserts that you can add to the lights so they fit the bottles. I was excited the first night as they really lit up and stayed that bright for a good number of hours. The following day, I made sure they bottles were recharging in light and was disappointed the second night as one light didn’t even work and the others were dimly light. I changed out the dud light with another. Again, one good night of bright light and here we are about a week later and after a full day of being under light to recharge, at night they’re dim and last about 20 minutes before they go out. I can fiddle with the on/off switch and they’ll show brightly for a few minutes then go dim. I get the same result whether the bottle are inside or out.

Love the solars
I used these to make wreaths with lighting. They work great they are perfect size. There were enough to make several wreaths. These thing seem to last a long time too. Theu are easy to use because they are like a fine wire. So they can wrap or twist or whatever you need. They will tangle though. But the kids had a lot of fun decorating the arch way with these.

I got a box of these to add some light to a few outdoor lantern bodies I had. I was able to fit the cork into the top of the lantern and the lights dangled down below. So far all of them are holding up great after a few months outside (one battery contact seemed loose, but I fixed that and it’s been good since then).They’re a bit expensive, but they function well and it’s nice to have all three colour options in one case so it was a worthwhile purchase for me!
