Good travel carrier for larger cats
I’ve been looking for a larger carrier for my cats for long car trips (7-8 hours) and decided to try this option. I wasn’t expecting much as there were several reviews that stated it wasn’t super sturdy, but it worked perfectly for my boys. It folded just enough that I can get it under the back window (I have a jeep wrangler with no backseat) and easily has enough room for both cats (extra fluffy ones-13 & 15 lbs), a blanket, and a small litterbox. While it took up most of the area in the back, I still had enough room beside it for a couple of boxes and the extra litter. I also had no issues with tearing or ripping, although even though they are not fans of the car, neither cat has front claws and they do not try to chew their way thru any carrier I’ve had, so it may not hold up to teeth. The only thing I would like to see was an easier storing option, as I couldn’t for the life of me get it re-packed/folded afterwards, so it’s going to stay popped up as a sleep area for the cats until the next time around. Now, I’m not saying your fur babies will love this, as my short hair still HATES car rides and yelled at me almost the entire last trip, but it certainly gave them more room to move about, hide, sleep, and use the bathroom without me having to make the stops I used to.**Update Oct 2024*** Still a 5 star product in my book. It’s become a favorite sleep area for both cats, and it was a great area to confine one after a recent surgery for a few days. It’s also very easy to clean-I simply hosed it out and let it dry in the sun.

I absolutely HATE lugging around my dogs metal kennel when we leave home for a day or so. It’s so heavy and awkward. It was supposed to be the kind that that could fold but it’s a huge pain in the butt and takes too much time. This folds so nicely and super lightweight too. I could easily stick it in luggage or a backpack. My dog is kennel trained to sleep in his kennel at night and nessassary too because he’s still young and gets in trouble when he’s not locked up or being monitored in some way. Plus he actually seems to like his own little area to sleep anyways. When I visit family or friends I’ve wished I had his kennel when he gets particularly annoying and won’t calm down. He doesn’t understand yet that people don’t like to be licked in the face or have to constantly play with him lol. It was more trouble than it was worth to load up his kennel though for little visits like that but now I have this and I can just leave it in my car for when I need it. I love that it has an attached waterproof bottom just in case. It’s low but my dog is pretty short to it doesn’t matter much. It has enough room for him to play in which is nice because he can be a little hyper. But still has enough space to put a bed in it when he decides to calm down. This is probably the better looking and heavy duty ones I have found. If I got a flimsy cheapo one I don’t doubt that my dog would try to break out. It feels really well made and is easy to set up. It just kind of pops open without hardly any effort at all. My only gripe is that it came with absolutely no instructions on how to fold it. That kind of irritated me because it opened up so easy I assumed it would be easy to fold back down but I found myself getting worried I would accidentally bend parts of the metal. I messed with it trying to refold it for like 15 minutes and was getting a little impatient with it. Eventually I thought to look at the pictures on amazon and it has a pic on how to do it… don’t know why they couldn’t at least throw that picture in with the product. Seems like common sense to me. But still I keep feeling like I’m going to bend something. Idk maybe I might still be doing something wrong. It’s hard to tell but at least I can break it down. I just have to be careful as to not let any parts of the frame get too roughly handled. I would have rated it 5 stars if the company put instructions or warnings on what not to do with it or whatever. Either way I can’t wait to get to use it soon. I hope my dog likes it too

Great quality, very sturdy, easier to fold back down – the trick is to make sure the base is being folded out not hidden in between panels – very compact once folded down and great little storage bag! I’ve bought a large for my 4 months old toy Cavoodle, she still has plenty of room in there for her to move around!

Ordered this item for my 2 cats yo put them in when I’m painting as they tend to scrape at doors when they are closed in. I was worried as the only size was small.Product arrived this morning and I’m really pleased. Not only is there plenty of room for them both but its also easy put up and packed flat and compared to a cheaper previous one its extremely sturdy. Would highly recommend. Would also be suitable for smaller dogs too.
