I have used these for a while now and absolutely love them. Allows you to handle most hot bowls and plates right out of the oven or microwave without slippery hot pads or gloves. Very stable holding power.

I’m not 100% confident when using these grippers.
I didn’t use these grippers much at first as I was a little concerned with how lightweight and plastic they seemed. Eventually I tried them out and they do work to lift scorching hot bowls from the microwave oven. However, I am still not 100% confident relying on these to lift a hot bowl out of the oven and transfer it to my counter, so I use these to lift the bowl enough to get a pot holder underneath and carry the bowl over to the counter that way. So, these lift and stabilize the bowl while the other hand under the pot holder supports most of the weight of the hot container. I think these grippers are very useful if you aren’t trying to lift and carry heavy glass containers filled with food.The silicone on the one I’ve been using for several months seems to be deteriorating and is less grippy than it was when new, so I’d suggest keeping an eye on that. For such an inexpensive product, I can’t complain too much that it isn’t lasting a year.I’d recommend this product but suggest using them in combination with a pot holder to support the weight of the container, and don’t expect the silicone pads to last.

Great gadget – but padding on gripper fell off after 1 use
This is just the gadget for taking hot casseroles out of the toaster oven or microwave. However, one side of the padding where you grip the device on the pot/casserole fell off after 1-2 uses. They sent me a new unit, and again the padding came off after 1-2 uses. I’m not sure what the problem is, with this otherwise very helpful device!!

One of those things I didn’t know I needed
You know how awkward it can be to remove a small container from the microwave, air fryer, or oven with a potholder. Half the time the potholder gets into the food. This little gadget is great! It holds the bowl (or pan, or whatever) so firmly you could shake it up and down and not drop it. No more burnt fingers or stained potholders. Happy.

I use my grippers all of the time to take plates and bowls of food out of the microwave. Just have to be careful of the wire that is to keep the handles shut because it flips down in the wrong place if you aren’t careful.

As another reviews, the silicone did come off of mine also but itâs still grips and holds my trays that I lift and pull out of my air fryer. I havenât used it on glass. I did try it, but it kind of makes me a little bit nervous since the silicone is missing, but it didnât hurt it and it didnât break, but for my trays on my air fryer, I absolutely love the little silicone finger grips that I had just werenât cutting it. You had to use two hands and I inevitably burnt myself. Iâve not had one burn or one spill since I got this lovely little tool. Iâm giving one of them away as a Christmas gift to a friend.
