These are good sized wool dryer balls. They don’t make a lot of noise when the dryer is running. They are softer than the plastic ones. My laundry dries faster with these. There isn’t any static, just soft and dry clothes. I don’t use any fabric softener or dryer sheets.
A couple of reviewers didn’t like the odor right out of the package. While they did have a slight smell, I spritzed each one with a lavender linen spray before I used them the first time and they don’t have any odor now.

Love these! They’re a great size, so the four are perfect for my laundry needs. I used them after I washed two pillows and they dried faster than normal. I also used them with a couple of blankets, and they dried soft. No issues, no smell. I did not notice any static. They seem as if they’ll last quite a while. Great price, too. Would recommend.

Everyone needs these!
After using tennis balls in the dryer for years, these do a great job of fluffing and faster dry times without the loud banging. Great value. I recommend washing and drying in a load of whites before tossing in with a load of dark clothes or you’ll have white fluffy fleece on your favorite shirt. My clothes never looked better, towels are fluffy & soft and removes the majority of static cling from all but microfiber. Ditch commercial fabric softeners and dryer sheets for these. Softener is a scam, leaves stains on clothing and a costly, unnecessary product: better off to replace with white vinegar and these fluffy wool balls. Baaaa!

Those are some serious balls
I have been using these dryer balls for about 2 maybe 3 weeks.. and so far they have worked perfectly.. I was unaware of how to use them at the beginning, only using one ball in the laundry at a time and still getting the occasional static. Once I looked up how to use them online and to use multiple for what size laundry load and or what material drying .. I finally got the static free results I was hoping for. Yay!
Occasionally I still end up with some static but I thinks thatâs me loading the dryer to full.
I submitted a video of drying a fleece blanket (I said it was in there for 5 minutes, it was more like 15) and taking it out of the drying with no static.. that makes me happy.. even dryer sheets couldnât cut the entire electrical flow out of the fleece and I used name brand sheets (before).
I started using these dryer balls because A) they are cheaper then continuously buying dryer sheets, B) they are way more convenient to store. As a matter of fact I donât need to store them anywhere, I pretty much just always leave them in the dryer and C) my boyfriend was randomly having some serious skin (allergic) reactions to something all over his body. We didnât know if it was the body soap, laundry detergent, or the occupational dryer sheets I would use, so we decided to go organic / pure with all of our products.
Since using these he hasnât had any issues/ breakouts.

Wool balls done right
I ordered these kids back on March 27th, 2022 and have been using them 2 – 4 times weekly ever since. They have started to change in shape where they’ve been nicked in the tumble, but they work great all the same. No fraying, weird smell, or any issuesâthey are simply wonderful wool balls. They do a great job at bonking the laundry just enough to keep it well aerated and separate, which seems to both speed up and aid in the thoroughness of the drying process. They’re particularly useful for drying bulky, heavy items like pillows and comforters, and they help enormously with knocking pet fur off of fabric. Highly recommended!

I wanted some of these wool balls after visiting a relative who used them and liked them.
These come in a bag to keep them in. Before I used them, I tossed all of the balls along with the bag into the dryer and let them ‘dry’ for about 40 minutes. Just made me feel better to do that.
My clothes do come out feeling softer and not wrinkly. As for static, there were a couple of items that were staticky but not all of them. However, I do know that with my relative’s wool dryer balls they did that for a few dries and then the static wasn’t as bad. Ultimately, I think it will be according to what kind of clothing and maybe even what time of year–like here, it is winter and very dry outside and inside.
I didn’t have any lint or residue on my clothes after use.
I didn’t find them loud. I put all of them in a load of regular clothes and every so often I could hear a dryer ball hit the sides, but it didn’t bother me–I put a video of my clothes drying so you could hear it, and I was close to the dryer.
I also did a load of towels and boy that’s where I saw the difference! I don’t use softener on my towels ever because it builds up on towels and will make them less absorbing over time. But these dryer balls made my towels feel softer and even thicker and fluffier–there was a noted difference.
I would consider putting essential oil on half of these to use with my towels or sheets.
I’m quite pleased with my order and only wish I’d done it sooner. Also, I snagged them on sale, so even better!

They work amazing
I just placed my second order after getting these a or so year ago!! Love these! They work the best on my sheets and towels to keep them from getting all bunched up and it does cut down drying time. And as you can see when youâve had them for a while and need new ones they also double as great cat toys hahah all natural so no worries if animals or kids get a hold of them 🙂

After the few test trials, I am confident to confirm that the dryer balls indeed speed up drying time if you do not overload your dryer (small- medium size clothings). I’ve put some essential oil on the balls in absent of not using softener, it smell heaven.
Here is the bad news for those who are thinking to use for bedding (quilt cover, and sheets), let’s be realistic, small balls will be tangled on large items and please put down you expectation.
Otherwise, these dryer balls are useful, can keep your towels fluffy and your energy savings happy.

These wool dryer balls are amazing! I purchased the extra-large dryer balls and clothes definitely dry faster and fluffier – and I love that clothes don’t feel ‘waxy’ like they do using dryer sheets. 100% polyester items sometimes have a bit of static when you first take them out of the dryer, but the static dissipates very quickly. I just bought several more packs for family members and I’m sure they will love them as much as I do. The added bonus is the cost savings of not having to buy dryer sheets!
