decent for the price but don’t expect awesome quality photos
Ok, I have no comparison at this price point, though I’ve owned many expensive cameras and camcorders. So my review is based on this costing $30 and I’m not trying to compare this to the $200 and up cameras I’ve owned in the past. This is meant for kids, and as such I’ll review it on a kid not being overly concerned with image quality, and that’s perhaps the only big gripe about the photos. Set this to 56 MP at the highest and you’ll get some passable photos, otherwise it gets pretty grainy looking. I didn’t need to read instruction to figure it out except for how to switch from picture to video mode, which is the center OK button. Otherwise there are 4 arrow buttons surrounding that, and you can try each for the function. There are four more buttons around those that have icons indicating what they do. A kid will need a lot of instruction. One of those buttons is a menu button, and there are lots of options, even as many as on my good cameras. Kids will have fun with the sepia, b&w, color photo options and the digital zoom (not optical). Even though they make it look like it may have a telephoto lens popping out, it doesn’t. I couldn’t get good results using the night mode, but it does have a flash that works well. It has anti-shake which is great for kids. 1080P video quality isn’t great either, but good enough. Those are recorded in AVI format and I was only able to play them using MS Clipchamp, but I think that’s an issue on my laptop and not with the camera. It comes with a 32 GB TF card which is generous, and you simply insert it into your laptop to copy media from there to your storage. I don’t know of another way to get the photos off the camera for sharing, so if you don’t have a TF card slot then you’re out of luck if the kids want to share photos on social media or anything.It’s a plastic body but seems well made and should last unless it’s dropped on concrete. It comes with a wrist strap and two rechargeable batteries, the proprietary kind only for this camera. Also includes a USB cable to recharge those batteries in the camera. They even include a cheap carrying bag and an instruction manual that has fine print to read but well written. I’d say with all the options on the menu and physical options, this is worth the price if your kid wants to get into photography and if they have access to a laptop that takes media from the TF card.

I am really impressed
I think society in general has become jaded about technology and probably doesn’t realize that just a decade ago that this WONNIE digital camera for kids would have been “state of the art” and cost at least an order of magnitude more. No, it isn’t as good as a modern cell phone camera or a DSLR costing nearly $1000, but even at its low cost, it is still pretty damn good. I would bet that in the vast majority of photos, as they are normally viewed, you could not tell which of the before mentioned cameras were actually used to take the picture.I always get a little nervous when my wife hangs her outrageously expensive iPhone (hers is nothing fancy, but I think all Apple products are outrageously priced) over the railing on a cruise ship to get that “special” picture, but with this WONNIE camera, that you can actually (with some difficulty) attach a wrist strap to, I would not worry as much. I think that this camera is amazing in that it has 16X digital zoom (not quite as good as optical zoom, but still a nice feature), auto focus, auto exposure, auto shutdown, white balance, image stabilization, flash, macro focus, date and time coding and rapid shooting. It also has a number of filters and special effects. It can also be used to shoot 1080P videos and/or hooked up to a computer to be used as a web cam. You can charge the batteries in the camera and it comes with an extra battery that would probably allow you to shoot pictures all day. Speaking of extras, it comes with a 32GB FT card, which will record thousands of protos.The pink color is nice for a girl of any age, but some guys might not be comfortable using it. However, if you want to get pictures in environments where you might be putting your expensive cell phone or camera at risk, this WONNIE camera will serve nicely and give you rewarding results.

Great For Kids To Learn an Create Memories
This camera is perfect for kids and makes a great gift! Love the color! It’s super lightweight and easy to use, which makes it a great first camera. My nieces (7 and 3) started using it right away without needing to read the instructions, which was a huge plus! Kids today are very techy. The picture quality is decent—not like an iPhone or pro camera, but definitely good enough for fun memories and everyday use. I also love that it’s durable enough to handle some rough use, which kids are prone to. The extra battery and included memory card are great, making it easy to use right out of the box without needing anything extra. It’s not a fancy camera, but for the price, it’s perfect for kids or anyone wanting something simple and affordable. Highly recommend for young photographers or just as a fun little camera to have around!
