I work outside in a lumberyard 10 hrs a day and so far this hat and neck warmer combo is essential.

This is by far the best. 10° outside with below zero windchill and this kept me nice and toasty. Inside layer is nice and soft and doesnât irritate your face after wearing it for a while. If you work or play outside in the cold I recommend getting this.

Nice and soft, fits!
It isn’t quite cold enough around here to wear this yet – but I’m ready! (Not eager, though. lol)The color of this set is great to go with my coat and it is so soft. This will be my first time having a neck warmer – but I’m getting older and I’m going to appreciate it!

Interesting fabrication technique.Outer layer is a tight weave of synthetic fabric which does a good job as a windbreaker. Inner fleece lining seems nice & warm down to about 30º F – which is as cold as it’s gotten where I live. I suspect from the overall composition that the cap is more of a “light to medium duty” protection against cold. Seems like you’d need something with a bit more insulation for really frigid temps.Gaiter seems just what the proverbial doctor ordered for neck protection. Especially for use with coats/jackets that lack a high collar to protect same. Slipped it on during a couple of hikes during frosty mornings we experienced in my neck of the woods & it felt great. Lots better than using a scarf.Gaiter’s drawstring adjustment allows for a snug fit when it’s pulled up over the face. A nice touch – although the little “tensioner” gizmo that holds the drawstring tight when you adjust it seems a bit chintzy & doesn’t hold especially well.The advert for this product seems to suggest that the set is reversible. I suppose you could use them turned “inside out”, but it seems to me doing so would nullify the insulating effect created by the way the layers are put together – not to mention that the fleece lining is a lot more comfortable against the skin, IMHO.The ad also shows that the gaiter can be used as a cap as well (not sure why you’d want to do this, since you get an actual hat with the set). It doesn’t really work as implied, though, since if you try to close the end with the drawstring up completely so it’ll function like a cap, the cheesy tensioner slips & lets that end open up some. I guess you could use it something like one of those knit “headbands” made to fit over the ears – in case of emergency, maybe.Anyway – all in all a nice set.

Soft, warm, great color
This set is soft, stretchy, lined with warm fleece, and made in a stylish masculine color. The neck gaiter is adjustable with a toggle into a turtle neck, a face cover, bandana, or loose-fitting hat, and the whole set is reversible with a grey plaid design for when you want to mix-and-match! Got it for an outdoorsy friend for Christmas. Love it.

Fits my enornous head
I wear a 7 three-quarters to 8 hat size and the beanie fits well. The neck gaiter also fits well. I wear a 17 collar size and this fits feel as well.Super comfy and it feels to me like a two-piece baklava, but thicker and more customizable.The color is true to what the picture shows. The unboxing is average.
