Online, they seemed to be made like your typical crafting materials, but I took a gamble anyway, because I needed a collar with the qualities listed, due to realizing at the last moment, that my kitten’s scrawny neck would not work for most collars, even xs ones in size, or one’s that had plenty of room for adjustment. She was just that small. I had to have one, however, because I needed to be able to hear where she was in the house, for her own safety. I searched for what I was looking for – something that could be cut to size would do the trick, and ran across these. They are made of a fairly soft material with velcro clasping.Why they work for my needs: Firstly, the price is great for what you get. Secondly, these collars aren’t meant to last forever, but they are made well enough that you won’t be replacing them every other day, or even every week or two for that matter, with normal wear and tear. There is enough quantity wise, to get you through a good duration of time until your pet can fit normal sized collars. My kitten has not been able to rip these off or destroy them, so, that’s a good sign. Also, they are not completely smooth, but they aren’t so uncomfortable that she is constantly itching and scratching to cure any discomfort.I love that these can be cut to any size you need, and come with a cute matching bells, or you can mix-match the colors and bells and come up with some cute looks of your own, too. I am quite pleased with these. Now I know when kitty is behind the couch, eating, or has gotten into an area she should not be.Until she can fit the studded, fancy collars I bought her, these are amazing. They do the job, the color choices are nice, they’re well made for what they are, and they aren’t rough/irritating on the skin.I highly recommend if you too, have a small necked kitten or puppy.

Amazing Collars – Great Service
I bought these collars for a litter of Australian Shepherd puppies that I’m expecting. To start off, I really like these collars. They are very soft and very adjustable, I have no concerns about them fitting any puppies I may be expecting. They are thin enough width-wise that I don’t think they’ll be irritating or interfere with the movement of brand new puppies. Overall, very impressed with the quality of these collars, and very pleased at the price. Now what I am NOT impressed with, I purchased 15 collars with bells, and I received 15 collars, but only 13 bells. This is rather irritating. Now if I need to use more than 13, or want to use a different collar that didn’t come with a matching bell, I either put a bell-less collar on only one puppy, or I can’t use the color that I want. I put 4 stars because it’s not a big deal, but the order isn’t correct, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.UPDATE: After reaching out to the company, they were apologetic and fixed the issue with not receiving enough bells. I’m updating my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars because of the company’s great customer service when confronted with my issue, and rectifying it. Great job Whale Online! Will definitely buy puppy ID collars from no other company. Again, collars are fantastic, soft on both sides, enough velcro to hold on tight, brilliant collars, and great quality! Very, very pleased with everything!

Great for kittens!
I had 6 identical foster babies only 3 weeks old and less than a pound. These collars (without the giant bell on it) worked great! I was able to cut them to size and they didnât fall apart like cat collars do once cut. Highly recommend for puppies or kittens.

A little long, but otherwise perfect for foster kittens!
These are the perfect thickness for kittens and are easily adjustable. The collars are soft and not irritating to the kittens. I like that the bell is removable so you have it as an option but donât have to listen to 4 kittens jingling around all day. The velcro stays in place but does not get caught on fur. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because theyâre super long and when you have them adjusted to tiny necks, the other end starts coming undone (which is just a nuisance and annoys the kittens). They were easy to trim down though since the full the length easily fits my adult catâs neck.

I got a morkie puppy and could not find a collar small enough to fit him. I even tried a cat collar. I needed to put a bell on him so he was easy to find. These were great. I could cut them to size and it didnât bother him. Love the different colors

These are lightweight, velcro attachable, and come in a variety of cute colors. However, I need to warn others to be cautious. I put this on my cat with 2 fingers (index and middle) worth of slack so that it wasn’t too tight. Sometime in the middle of the night she must have been chewing on it. She got her bottom jaw hooked in it and got stuck. I don’t know how long she was that way before waking me up for help, but it must have been a while. She made her mouth bleed and damaged the skin on her chin. This has never happened with other collars. I haven’t put one of these back on her since, but if I was to try, I would definitely make sure it is much tighter than before so that she can’t manage to catch it with her mouth again. Honestly, I’m too scared to try though.

This was perfect for my Ferrets 𥰠My ferrets love roaming nd now I donât have to stress over where they are cause of their little bells! The collars do come a little big if you have ferrets, kittens, or any kind of little neck baby but they are very easy to cut and adjust to their neck :)! I love the soft texture of the collar and it doesnât bother my ferrets as much as hard velcro â¤ï¸
