    Love this
I was hesitant as I usually use a regular purse or a backpack purse. But this is small and cute. And I love that I can slide it from front to back easily when I have my grandbabies. Very durable and worth the money! Plenty of room!

    Good for lefties
I wear my sling bag over my left shoulder, so when it was time to replace my Outdoor Master sling with something else, I was looking for zips I could access when I swing the bag around to the front as well as good water bottle pockets and a phone pocket that fits my big phone. This bag does all of those things. It’s lightweight, has some decent interior sectioning for things like pens and smaller items, and, most importantly, I can position the double zippers on the main compartment so they point up toward me when I slide the bag around to the front. The phone pocket on the strap of the bag is huge; it took me a bit of time to get used to how big and clunky it really feels. The look of the pocket with my phone in it is a bit dorky. But I guess I am used to that now that I’ve been wearing it for a couple of weeks. Fears of heart cancer aside (j/k), it’s actually a convenient place in which to carry our external brain packs (phone). It also has a place where I can quickly clip a key on a carabiner so I don’t have to root around in the back portion for my car key or house key on short trips. This bag has water bottle mesh on both sides, and they fit my preferred insulated mug (contigo) and a small water bottle (both 16 oz) — or my travel umbrella. The zipper down the middle front seems like it would be convenient, but I’ve only found that small items fit in there (lip protectant, hair ties, pen, etc.) when the bag is full. The open pocket behind that is great for quick access, but since it doesn’t zip, it’s possible for smaller items to fall out of it. The main compartment is fairly roomy, but the only electronic device I can fit into it with my wallet and eyeglasses case and chargers in the bag is a Kindle Paperwhite. The bag doesn’t have a hidden security pocket on the back like my last bag, but the design is such that anyone trying to unzip your bag and grab stuff would have a hard time doing so. The double zippers on the main compartment could probably take a very small padlock, if need be.The downsides to the bag are the lack of internal organization and not very direct access to the few pockets that exist in the main section because the water bottle mesh sewn onto the sides hampers having a larger zipper for that compartment. It only opens a little ways, so you have to dig a bit to find things by feel. There aren’t any pen holders, a feature I find essential, because a woman without a Sharpie is a woman ill-prepared. There are two mesh pockets that hold pens, sort of, and a large pocket in the portion to the front, and a larger device pocket in the back. I guess if you have any real valuables, you could just stuff them in the very bottom of the bag, where nobody (even you!) could get to them without serious intention. As with many bags these days, the key fob seems like an afterthought. It’s in an inconvenient place and interferes with the small inner pockets of the large compartment. I actually re-sewed the key fob into the dead space at the very top of the big compartment. That way my keys hang down the back of the compartment from the very top of the inside, and don’t get in the way of anything else.I suppose the way the clip strap works on the back you could add on a rolled up jacket or tee-shirt, tightening the strap down with enough pressure. I can see using that open pocket and the strap that goes over it for such a use on a day trip. The back strap is convertible left or right, so right handers can use the bag as well. I am considering buying a backup version in a different color, just to have another one around. It’s looking like it will be a good bag for basic daily use. I can’t fit my ipad or chromebook or any larger devices in it, and it’s hard to fit a journal or any paper bigger than say 5×7 in it, but It’s not often that I need to be carrying those things around in this bag.Tl:dr: Good, small bag that works well for left-handed folks and people who don’t need to carry large devices

Comfy, Great Fit, Has Some Issues
Edit to add: I never really appreciated how comfortable this bag was until I had to replace it and chose to go with something different. Even though this bag has some issues – see below – it is easily the most comfortable crossbody pack I have ever tried (and I have tried many!)I am 5′ 7″, around 115lbs, and have narrow shoulders and chronic upper back pain. I’d never really noticed that this thing has padding in the spots that make contact with my shoulder and my back until now. Plus, something about how the weight is distributed with this bag just works well for me. So, yeah. I’ll probably end up ordering a new one after all. Maybe I can, like, add super glue to the seams around the phone pouch and replace that clip before it breaks next time.Update October 15 2023: They fixed the zipper on the phone pouch but the pouch still fell apart. The plastic clip is also still a problem. (See pics.)I have now purchased this bag 3 times, most recently in December 2022. This is something I’ve never done with any other bag or purse, but I really like this one and it’s nearly perfect for hiking with my dog and general everyday use. (I ditched my purse and started just using this bag for everything a while ago!)On the most recent bag, I was impressed that they had reinforced the zipper on the cell phone pouch. That zipper had broken on my previous two bags and other reviewers had reported the same issue. This newly reinforced zipper hasn’t broken on me yet. However, one of the fabric edges at the bottom of the phone pouch started separating at the seam only a few weeks after I got it and has only gotten worse with time. I’ve still been using the thing, lol, but at this point it’s close to being too big to keep my phone from falling out. Now, if I had applied fabric glue or fray check or even just super glue when it first started I probably could have prevented it from getting any worse and it would have looked good as new, but I just never had the time to mess with it. (Plus, I would’ve had to use a different bag for at least a day while it dried and I honestly couldn’t be bothered.)In addition, a few days ago the plastic clip that clips the strap onto the bag – the thing that makes it repositionable from one side to the other – popped apart. (The same thing happened on my previous bag as well.) I snapped it back in, but it’s happened a few more times since then with increasing frequency. Finally, a few days ago it popped apart again on a hike, dumping my bag onto a muddy trail in the middle of a rain storm, so I finally gave in an ordered a different bag. :(Previous review:I bought this in Feb. 2021 to use for daily 3-5mi hikes with my dog. It was so comfy and convenient that it ended up replacing my purse as well, becoming the only bag I’ve carried until now (July 2022).I love the convenient phone pocket on the strap, the multiple pockets inside the main compartment, the capacity, and the fact that I can switch the strap from left shoulder to right shoulder. I especially love that it has two water bottle pockets on the sides of the bag that easily fit average sized water bottles, allowing me to carry enough water for myself and for my dog in the summer. There are also multiple places to attach a carabiner clip or S-biner to in order to carry a folding water bowl and a poop bag holder for the pup. To top it all off, the strap is wide enough and comfortable enough to make carrying the bag for long distances a breeze.Unfortunately, about 6 weeks ago the cell phone pocket zipper broke. I’ve actually still been able to use the pocket by tying a broken hair elastic around the it, providing an elastic restraint to hold my Moto Stylus G5 in the pocket — as long as I don’t bend over, it stays put.But then, a few days ago, part of the strap clip popped out. It’s a kind of plastic rod that inserts into a socket and allows the strap to spin around in any direction, making it possible to switch the strap from left shoulder to right shoulder. Anyway, I was able to snap it back in, but it has popped out a few more times since then, and each time the plastic piece that holds the socket together wears down a little more. So, unfortunately, I’ll need to replace the whole bag very, VERY soon. (Like, now.)That said, other than those two issues, every other part of the bag has held up impressively well. None of the other zippers have broken and there are no tears or rips in any of the seams or fabric. Both water bottle holders are still intact, despite the mesh material. The bag still looks great as well. And I’m really not exaggerating when I say that I have beat the crap out of this thing. While I hate having to throw yet another mostly intact thing into the garbage (and from there into a landfill ☹️), for the price I paid for this bag and the amount of wear and tear it survived I think it was definitely worth the money. I’ll also probably buy another one and hope that my next one holds up as well as this one did.

    Comfortable and compact
I love this bag. I got it mostly for when I travel but I ended up loving it so much I use it all the time! The color is just how it appears in the pictures. It is very durable and great quality. It has two pockets on the sides that have great working elastic at the top. Things don’t fall out of the pockets even when the bag is upside down. The price is great for such a great bag!

Great travel sling with only one minor concern.
I am on my third Waterfly sling after buying two for long distance travel. I hate purses, have ADHD, so these bags are convenient for me to put my keys, phone and wallet in while my hands remain free. Plenty of small storage spots ( understanding that can be positive or negative to some ) can stash all sorts of stuff, up to a small tablet. If you can stay organized, you could really have a nice setup for travel or on the go situations.I used mine day in and day out for almost two years until the plastic clasp holding it together broke during an amusement park ride. I was a little angry at that but the reality is for a 25$ item with daily almost abusive use and two international trips under its belt, it did a damn good job and was well suited to my life. No zipper problems and easy to wash if needed.Plenty of colors to choose from as well.Forgive the old bag pics but just wanted you to see the broken clasp and the pockets.
