Great camera, awesome features!
Installation was very easy & user-friendly thanks to the manual & on-screen instructions via the mobile Wansview Cloud App. Mounting bracket snaps off so you can place the bracket first to a flat surface with your desired location in mind using a phillips screwdriver. Then, you simply snap the camera back in place into the bracket.I’ve had nothing but peace of mind knowing I can monitor my home using the mobile app while I’m away. Speaking of which, I really like the alert feature on the mobile app which notifies me of any movement detected outside of my home by sending me a notification with an attached photo or video of the event. The infrared lens is an awesome feature which gives a clear view of the proximity when it’s dark out. You can set up the smart-light feature as well which will trigger bright lighting when movement is detected within the area in order to capture a clear picture/video of the event. Customer Support via e-mail was helpful & prompt with their response to my questions & concerns. Overall, I am very pleased with my Wansview Outdoor Camera & would recommend this product to anyone in the market for an affordable & reliable camera.

Wansview yet again!! Best reasonably priced cameras ever!
I have lost count of the number of Wansview cameras Iâve purchased over the years. All have been easy to install and, in fact, the first one I ever bought still works. This one hits it out of the park with the quality of video and how easy this is to PTZ and is so extremely quiet doing it. I canât even hear when this camera pans or tilts. One of my dogs can (which is tripping him out a bit), but heâs a dog, so since we donât have dog hearing, this wonât even alert intruders you are watching them if you pan/tilt to follow movement. This one also has the option to fire LED white light at night for color pics when it detects movement vs infrared. You can choose either. Iâm using mine indoors so chose to use infrared only. Another thing I appreciate about this camera is they have given me back the option to recorded 24/7 and not just when motion is detected. The microphone works great which my dogs donât understand when they get spoken to when Iâm not even home! Iâm using this in my RV so can monitor the whole thing with just two cams indoors and one outdoors. Theyâre all Wansview and all work very well. To be so inexpensive, this camera has some weight to it and feels quality built. Iâm frankly amazed at the price point. And one of my favorite things about wansview is they have always given me a choice to use SD card and/or cloud recording service. Iâve never used their cloud service as the SD card review is all I need. Iâm overall very impressed with this iteration of Wansviewâs latest line up.

Very versatile camera at a great price
Star ratings are based upon functionality at this price point.This was purchased to replace a fixed camera on our car-port, I have several different cameras at my home that I compared the W7 to.Shipping material was adequate to protect the camera which comes with everything needed for mounting to a customer provided, eight sided, electrical box. I also added an electrical box extension spacer to allow for mounting the needed USB charger supplied with the camera inside the electrical box.App install and camera configuration was easy and straightforward. Instructions were adequate but be prepared to play with the camera a bit to take advantage of all its capabilities.Video quality is very good, night vision is the normal black-and-white but also has the option to light up the scene for night color viewing.Motion control is smooth and allows you to set several favorite pointing and elevation locations.Unlike some other cameras, the W7 can stream live video to more than one viewer at a time however with some restrictions… You need to setup alternate viewers (can have up to 3 without a “protection Plan”) in the “invite family members” option. Be aware, some history viewing restrictions currently apply to these extra viewers but they can see the same live video the camera owner sees. As I said, other vendors seem to struggle with multiple video streams so this camera has them beat.Seeing triggered recording events is easier and better than higher priced cameras with forward and reverse “seek” controls on screen.Camera requires 2.4ghz router connectivity which is normal form most of these devices.Support is VERY responsive and helpful. I had several questions concerning multi-user viewing and the support person I dealt with was very dedicated to making sure my questions were answered, many times within just a few hours.In summary: Hands down the best camera I have found for the price and I would buy again.

Good Cameras
These cameras work well and provide good images. They are about 150 feet from my WiFi router and connectivity has been good. I like the fact that they capture video clips when motion is detected. Itâs about 10s, but longer if you subscribe to cloud service.I recently had an issue with preset location views and the team was responsive and helped me resolve e the issue.

the alert does not seem to be accurate, keep sending me messages, and there is no thing no movement, so this is really useless. i even used partial area to be covered for alerting, still not working, also sensitivity changed but still sending useless alert. could i be doing some thing wrong? i do not think so, but let me know help appreciated if any
