Great for worksites with no cell service
I do hvac. me and my buddy saw these on sale and picked em up. Sometimes when weâre on a job site we donât have cell service so trying to get a hold of a helper on the roof or one in the basement while weâre somewhere else is difficult. This saves the trip of having to walk up three floors and up a roof access hatch to tell them to do something else. Has worked well when we have to shut off electric somewhere on a plant too. So far weâve used through insulated walk in cooler walls and up 200â to the roof crystal clear clarity. Line of sight doesnât appear to be an issue with this like it is with so many other versions Iâve tried. We were working at a prison where we sent the helper about 3/4 of a mile to the front of the place waiting on material to be delivered and could hear him no problem too. Comes with two on the order and works with four on the same channel. Love them and would buy again
