Good kIt for first safety razor
Let me start off that I hate shaving and I have really sensitive skin so shaving really irritates it, and I’ve had a beard for a long time, but my job requires me to shave once a year for my respirator certification. Everything in the kit is of decent quality, the pre shave oil and after shave balm are really nice and smell good. The razor itself has a decent weight and is comfortable to hold and use, the 10 pack of razors is good. The brush is okay but could be better I was having to pick out bristles in my lather. the bowl is good and helps make a good thick lather. The stand for the razor and brush is a nice touch. This is a really good price point for everything you get in the kit. Although I didn’t use the shave shave soap, I used Porasso shaving cream instead off a recommendation from a friend. After using this kit it gave me a really close and smooth shave, and for the first time my skin isn’t irritated after shaving, and I’ll never use a cartridge razor again. The kit made something I rather dislike a nice enjoyable experience.

Excellent Kit
I bought this kit so I could shave my partner and itâs a great deal. Soap does foam up nicely and the pre shave oil is a nice touch. Aftershave balm is the best. His face turned out baby smooth and zero skin irritation. Best purchase! My only complaint is the pump on the pre shave oil doesnât work, so I have to use the top as a dipper. I think this could easily be solved by making a dropper top and using that instead of a pump. Overall⦠great kit! â¤ï¸

Honest review
Great value. It comes with everything you need to begin. Everything for the most part was great. For me the blades seemed rough for my face type.(sensitive skin) For others it could be perfect. The soap lathers up I worked the lather around 1 minute. I got the proper lather consistency but I found it a little lacking. Iâve got greater results with other brands. Overall great kit.

I really liked the razor and other items that it came with. My only advice is to throw out the razors and buy persona. I have been shaving my head for years with a DE razor and have never torn my head up. In fact I can count the number of times I have cut my head on one hand in the years I have used.The razor is a bit aggressive but there is descent weight to let the razor do the work. Angle will take a bit to get used to. I was able to shave faster. No issues with slipping or grip. Cleaning was easy and didn’t require loosening the butterfly to do it.Brush and bowl worked fine with soap. No issues to lather and is descently made. You don’t need a big bowl to do a big lather.I see a couple reviews about the stand where they had issues. There is nothing wrong. The head does not sit on the stand. There is a second ring that is just below the stand that actually holds the razor. There are images of this. I see no issues. To clean your brush rinse and shake the water out flicking it in sink or tub. It will no longer drip after a few good shakesThe preshave oil an after shave seemed to do a good job. Easy to apply and takes very little.All in all it is a good kit. Just swap the blades as they are very aggressive and abrassive. I have used feather as well but persona is my go to.Update.So after trying a couple more times, this razor definetly needs some rework. While I can shave faster, it isn’t as clean cut. I have to go extremely slow and even then, because of the design, you will get irritation and possibly cut. I am still going to try a few more times just to see but will probably switch back to my merkur 34c. Just a better shave with less irritations and much quicker. Both have there pluses and minuses. But over all I prefer merkur so far. 1 star dropped do to the amount of irritation and cuts. Which I don’t get with my other.Update 2After a few more times, I have finally found the appropriate motion to shave without getting nicked. While my other razor needs slow longer drags, this one needs short and quicker but precise movement. I have had 0 cuts last 3 head shaves or razor burn. I have also found the weight of the shaver is a bit heavy and need to keep the razor from resting completely. This razor does seem to get closer than my other and do a slightly better job. I have readded the star.

Great Starting Kit
First time using a DE Safety Razor, and I’ll happily say it’s given me the smoothest shave I’ve ever had. Handle feels well built and has nice weight to it, and the blades are indeed razor sharp. Brush worked well and feels good to apply shaving cream with. Haven’t figured out the shave soap yet but I’ll try. Sandalwood Pre and Post shave oils smell nice and provide a nice smooth finish. Went slow and tired to maintain good technique and not accidentally go side to side, and the hair comes right off. Nicked myself a few times around the moustache and neck apparently but didn’t feel it, no pain, cuts were absolutely tiny and closed up in seconds. With practice that’s definitely avoidable, and its nowhere near as bad as any cut I’ve gotten from a cartridge razor. If you’re skin gets irritated easily like mine and you aren’t satisfied with the smoothness from cartridge razors I can highly suggest this kit as a starting point for getting into using a Safety Razor.

Clean Shave, Great Feel
The brush is soft and easy to later. The stand it comes with is durable against all sorts of water resideu and such. The shaving razor handle and blade holder is quality made. (Written from the view of a wife who sees her husband happily use this product every single day with joy) Also! Bonus. The oil it comes with had improved my husband’s normal to dry skin with a lot more hydration and even a slight glow to it–BONUS!

Love everything else about the shaving kit. However, when attempting to you use the aftershave cream, pumping the bottle.The bottom blew out and I was no longer able to use it because it dried out. I very much appreciate the customer service. It has been excellent and I will continue to using the companies products that I enjoy because of it.Went from 3 stars to 5 stars because of there service.
