Won’t charge!
(I initially gave this a 1 star and probably still would for the sole reason that it stopped charging. But I’m changing my rating to 5 because of the exceptional customer service. See review update).This is the second unit I have had. The first one stopped charging and was still in the refund window. This one did last longer but now 3.5 months later, my second unit is now not taking a charge. I guess you get what you pay for.UPDATE 6/29/24: seller/manufacturer reached out and offered to replace the unit with an upgrade. (I was not asked to update this review. I’m doing it on my own to share their customer service has been great!). The new unit has a bigger screen and a few more features than the smaller one. So far I like it and it’s working well. I especially like the two way talk feature and the larger screen as wellAs the cameras ability to see more of the room and view both my kids that sleep in this room. I’ll update again after using it for a while, but my initial review is that the quality seems higher compared to the other model.

Quit working after 6 months *READ EDIT BELOW*
Unfortunately it’s out of the return window but it no longer works. It’s frozen on one screen and won’t work at all. It was nice when it did work!EDIT: This specific monitor in the ad quit after 6 months–which I gave 1 star. This company has emailed me, given me a refund and asked me to change my review in response to the refund. Which I did not do, because I want people to see an honest review of the product itself. After I did not change my review, they contacted me again and asked if they sent an upgraded product if I would change my review. The new baby monitor that they sent me is AMAZING however, it is a completely different monitor than this specific one that this ad is for.Overall, the company is okay (yucky trying to buy better reviews on their part), the new monitor is nice, but be wary of this specific 2.4 LCD Screen Monitor in this ad. The first video I attached is the original one associated with this ad and the second one is the new monitor that they sent as a replacement asking me to change my review.I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars ONLY because of the new, upgraded baby monitor. The original product in this ad is not good.

Functional baby monitor for a good price
We got this for our newborn, and while I thought the camera looked like a little higher quality than it was in real life, the whole system works as advertised. For the price, this is a good buy as it works to monitor the baby and make it so we know when they wake up. It has a VOX setting that turns off the screen and sound so that you can sleep with it at night; while I like the feature, it doesn’t work real well with having a white noise machine because the white noise keeps it on at the first two levels, and on the highest level it turns on and off too much. The monitor part is nice, it has a good battery life and you can take it around the house with you as needed. Overall, because it was as cheap as it is, I would recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap baby monitor.

Does not Pan around the room
I was looking for an affordable baby monitor that I could bring with me when we travel or visit relatives. I initially purchased this item due to the great price and good reviews.The picture quality looked great, the unit was crazy easy to set up (plug and play), and was packaged well.The two fatal flaws in my opinion are the following:1. Does not pan around the room ( there is a small feature where when you’re zoomed in you can go right slightly and left slightly but this will not give you an image outside of where the camera is DIRECTLY pointing.2. Picture on the parent unit is SO tiny – its really challenging to make out the details of what you’re looking atThis is a well built unit and could serve a purpose for other families if you just need to look directly at one very specific area with the camera but overall did not meet our needs when using as a baby monitor. We ended up spending an extra $10 to buy a different model with a bigger screen and a camera that can pan 360 degrees around the room.

Pros-It’s not overly expensiveIt works…just not great. It’s like an outdated piece of tech, it’ll do the job but with the bare minimum requirements.The audio portion works well.Daytime vision works well.Cons-Almost 2 months of use and the battery on the receiver dies frequently. It’s now charged nightly and still doesn’t last a full day.Night and daytime vision glitch back and forth which impacts the picture greatly.It’s super bright at night even with the screen brightness all the way dimmed.The eco mode is kind of crappy, it’s delayed to pick up/ turn on.Editing to add that after speaking to customer support (whom were wonderful) they have sent a replacement. I can only assume I got a faulty device after speaking to the service rep. They were so prompt to address the issue and rectify it. I’ve previously owned an older model in 2020 and it worked well so as I said I think it may have been faulty or they wouldn’t stand behind their products so willingly.

This monitor worked great for three months.Purchased in June 2024 and now in September it will no longer charge and stopped working.I need to company to contact me ASAP for a replacement.
