First-time installation was perfect
It’s important to get the correct size since not all models of the Galaxy S21 are the same size. This product, when I chose “S21 (6.2 inch)”, fit my phone, which self-identifies as “Galaxy S21 5G” with model name “SM-G991U1”, perfectly. The kit has three protectors and my first attempt produced a flawless result, leaving two more in the box.My previous technology was a “wet process” with a TPU protector. It invariably took four tries to get one without bubbles. And then, when a case was installed, edges and particularly corners would come up. With this product, my first installation produced no bubbles. (I’d look at both the video referenced on the product page as well as the vendor’s videos on YouTube as they emphasize different things.) Unlike the wet process, which required several minutes of squeegeeing, this product magically self-adheres! (I did have to initiate that process with my finger.) It then left a small bubble I quickly eliminated with the squeegee. The wet process requires overnight drying before installing a case and I followed that protocol for this one as well although it’s not mentioned in the instructions. I now suspect that was unnecessary. In any case my JETech case has not caused any problems with the protector and I don’t anticipate any future problems. Because the plastic alignment tray provides such precise positioning on the screen, there is a tiny line betwee the edges of the protector and the case itself, protecting the corners/edges from turning up.Initially I could not get biometric fingerprint scanning to work. However, about a month after installing, I could. Perhaps this interval of time somehow helped. I much prefer fingerprint scanning to face recognition as the latter seems not to be used as authentication for apps.With two more protectors in the box, I fully expect the protector to last the life of my phone. I have finally found an effective screen protector technology and will buy this brand for all future phones.

Best feeling and easiest to install screen protector (although the camera glass isn’t worth it)
Pros:- INSTALLATION. There was a bright orange neon frame that came with the screen protectors that made it SUPER easy to install. I did not watch any videos, although I’ve owned quite few phones before (each with their own screen protector) so I am well-versed on installing my own. However, the frame literally makes it impossible to install this protector crooked.- THE FEELS (for a lack of a better word to describe it.) I don’t know what it is, but this screen protector feels “soft” compared to other glass protectors I used. I compared it with another screen protector on an S20 FE (which also has a 90 hz screen), and this one just felt softer and smoother, almost like I was touching directly on the screen itself. (Disclaimer: For the three days I was without a screen protector, I would also describe the glass on the phone screen itself as “soft” and “smooth.”)(MINOR) CONS:- CAMERA LENS PROTECTOR. The glass for the camera lens is awful. I carefully installed it then turned on my phone camera immediately (it’s a bright and sunny day.) The camera app itself immediately told me to clean the lens, and stationary objects on the screen had a sheen/shine to them, which makes sense since the protector glass seems to be of sub-part quality in comparison. Note that the only sticky part of the lens protector is a thin strip around the edge.- FINGERPRINT NOT AS SENSITIVE. I’m NOT saying it doesn’t work. I had the fingerprint sensor in my settings turned on to maximum sensitivity PRIOR to owning any sort of protector, so a light tap would normally unlock my phone (and a slightly harder one guaranteed it.) This is in line with some of my older phones that did not have in-screen fingerprint readers. After installing the glass and re-registering my fingerprint, it requires a much harder press/multiple presses to unlock my phone. I do find this kind of annoying but I doubt there’s a solution given that an extra layer of glass is going to come with sacrifices!Overall, my gripes are minor. I gave this five stars because I got exactly what I wanted – a screen protector that works and feels great. The extra camera lenses were a bonus for me that I didn’t need, and I can’t see them being a good idea for ANY phone camera, regardless if it was an S21 or an iPhone12, etc.

-At first I was a little worried about applying it myself, but honesty it was super easy and they give you border edge thing to keepmit in place when you apply it! I just followed the instructions; cleaned it and plopped the protector on, let it sink down naturally, then used the scrubber to remove the bubbles (pressing firm and equally).-I bought a simple clear case for my phone and it fits with the screen and camera protector on.-I had 0 fingerprint issues, people who are aren’t following the instructions lol. Set up or reset up your fingerprint after installing the glass. It’s that simple. I didn’t even have to increase tap pressure/sensor or anything.-Durability seems great, but I also haven’t tested that.
