We bought this for our 7 year old daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it! There are a lot of experiments to choose from and the instructions are easy to follow. Some need adult help/supervision but some are doable all on her own. Kit contents are good quality and anyone over 5 can enjoy!

Keep Them Busy!
I bought this over the summer but we’re into October and my kid still uses this. I did limit him to 3 or 4 experiments each week in order to stretch things out. Left unattended, some of the ingredients were used for really dumb stuff so it’s important to monitor them a bit while using so you dont run out of things. Many experiments they can complete on their own with a bit of guidance. Some where great family projects and really fuels creativity if your child loves science or engineering. This kit came with all of the essentials. Very few household items were needed.

Fun but a letdown on the fizzy tablets experiments. The tablets didn’t do anything so those experiences were a letdown for the kids and myself. The tools received were nice and fun to use.

The kit is adorable and we loved it for making elephant toothpaste. Unfortunately, the beaker is not dishwasher safe on the top rack. It melted into a deformed puck after our first experiment. Note, hand wash only.

The scientist robe would fit maybe a 6-7 yo however my 4yo insisted to wear it anyways with sleeves rolled up.Testing tubes/funnels/measuring cup/measuring spoons and more. The basic kit comes with an experiment book containing easy instructions for 6 experiments.Make sure you have vinegar/baking soda/dish soap/milk and food coloring for the experiments as your kid would want to mix right away.Great value as well
