Great quality
Great quality and very useful for cats that require food through the night (so I can sleep). Read a review by someone else who suggested connecting a few jingle bells to a ribbon or string and then taping the ribbon to the doors of the feeder bowls so the cats can hear when the doors open for food. This works GREAT!

This is a good feeder. Great removes for easy cleaning, keeps time well and is very quiet. It does not automatically shut off so will keep running on battery after opened, so I remove the battery when not in use.

Sometimes simple is Best
Sometimes a more simple, low-tech product is best. So many automatic pet feeders are available and some are high-tech, but this is not always the best. I purchased a more high-tech digital auto feeder for my 3 Burmese cats but they quickly discovered its design flaws and were able to hack it to get food on demand.I decided to try this lower-tech option and it has met all of my expectations. It is easy to use, it is easy to programme and easy to wash. I like the stainless steel insert dish and the fact that it can be used with an ice pack for wet food. Best of all, my mensa smart Burmese cats have not been able to hack inside.

I tested it out for breakfast and it worked great. Tried it the second time for dinner while I was away from home and it never opened! Save your money and don’t buy this.

Nice, simple automatic feeder
I really like this automatic feeder for when I’m just gone over night. I had a more complicated one before, but it was not at all user friendly, and so difficult to program that sometimes it wasn’t releasing food. This one works great. I thought it might be clunky because it is so low tech, but I couldn’t even hear it when it opened. Great for my cat!

Dog Learned Out How To Open
Giving a low score cause my dog figured out how to open so it’s not useful anymore. And also she was able to pop off the back where the battery goes easily, which could potentially be dangerous if she chewed on it while I’m gone. The device works great with being on time and has decent amount of space for her serving.

Cat no longer wakes me up for food. That alone is worth the buy.Ticking is soft. I don’t hear a ding–wish it did ding.I recommend purchasing an extra set of food bowls AND an extra ice pack or two. It makes prepping so much easier.Ice pack doesn’t last very long to keep food cold.Wish bowls were a little wider to prevent whisker fatigue. Still these bowls are better in size that other bowls on the market.I don’t understand the point of the battery and if anyone could reply, that’s appreciated.

This has been a lifesaver as my kitten loves to wake me at 5am every day for breakfast. Itâs quiet, there is a faint ticking noise but it doesnât make noise when it opens. I donât find there to be an issue with the timer, it seems to open on time. Also is durable, my kitten has tried her best to get it open and canât, however I did have to Velcro it to my floor as she kept flipping it around my room lol. But now itâs great.

This works great for feeding my dog her medication on time when I can’t be home. Super simple and easy to use. I went through 3 feeders before finding one that would work. The other 2 were the 5 compartment carousel types. My dog wanted to break into the other compartments and would likely destroy the feeder in the process. This single compartment works perfectly. I just wish it had a little beeper or alarm option of some kind because my senior dog sleeps alot and her hearing isn’t the best when she is awake, so she sometimes doesn’t notice the feeder has opened. An alarm would give this product 5 stars for me.

I have a cat that gobbles all the food straight away whenever I have to leave for a day. This automatic feeder prevents her from doing that and means I donât walk back through the front door amidst deafening cat screams of hunger or face a house trashed because the cat has plundered it looking for food. I refused to pay for an expensive one because I donât use it everyday and if I stop manually feeding my cat, it will have no further use for me as itâs bald monkey slave. This feeder is great, I can keep wet food fresh with the ice block and set the timers to release the goodies at intervals during the day. It is tried and tested and works reliably well, great value for money and even I can programme it easily. The only criticism I will make is that it seems you have to set the timer for over an hour in order for it to register.
