Fresh and versatile
I bought this bulk bag of cloves to use in soap making, but they ended up having an unexpected value. When I had an abscessed tooth and could not get to the dentist for a few days, I chewed up a clove and held it near the abscess. These cloves are so fresh that they are full of oils and killed the pain immediately. I’d read about using cloves for tooth pain back in the day, but I didn’t know anyone who still did it. This isn’t medical advice, simply my own experience. I’m looking forward to making clove and orange pomanders for Christmas decor this year. Every time I bought cloves in the past, they have always been quite expensive and in a small container. These cloves are packaged in a sturdy bag that seals easily and well. Having this much product to work with at a reasonable price feels like luxury. I would definitely re-order.

These arrived fresh and are great for cooking. I found another use for them. I found out that cloves are a natural deterrent to common flies, and other insects. I put a 1/4 cup of them into a small shallow bowl and placed them in my garage/shop which flies like to visit in warm weather. To my surprise it actually worked, and I noticed, not total but a great reduction in the flies that were normally around. works as well has the chemicals or strips or very smelly bags. and much cheaper. Besides you can use them for breath mints .
