Easy to use – Love it!
Pleasantly surprised by how well this worked! Needed for zoom/video job interviews, worked very well. Great compact size (compared to full size soft box), remote worked well – no problems with it, and the options for different kinds of lighting were perfect for the changing natural lighting available in the room. Sturdy base – but we did opt to use some weight to keep it steady. Great carry bag, easy to assemble, works well – highly recommend.

Great illumination for virtual meetings without glare on glasses
I’m a professional speaker and needed more light in my office so I show up well on camera for virtual presentations and I can’t do a ring/direct style of light because I wear glasses and have and astigmatism which makes those style of like make me run away like a vampire in the daylight.I angle this one up at the ceiling to provide soft illumination it brightens the whole room. Easy to put together. I’ve traveled with it when I’ve presented remotely. One thing to think about is that I’m rarely moving it. If you are a photographer and moving it around all the time. The connection from the stand to the light is cheap. I don’t know how long it would last if your connecting and disconnecting frequently.The reason it get’s 4 and not 5 stars is because the remote could be better and I couldn’t give it 4.5 stars. The remote must be pointed directly at it so I sometimes have to contort myself to make that happen and be in the camera window to make the adjustment. The buttons are also backward… if you want more light, you press the button on the left versus right. Minor thing but it gets me every time!

Versatile and not too harsh
Wanted to get something more versatile but not harsh like a ring light or LED panel. I wear glasses so was worried about the reflection but this works great! Extremely versatile and the remote is a nice touch to adjust brightness and warmth as needed for solo filming. I use it for zoom meetings and presentations and it has a nice natural look. Tripod is sturdy and feels built to last, Iâve bumped it and it hasnât fallen over. A little pricey but you get what you pay for!

It’s great for single photos, not multiple.
The light quality is good, the stand works nicely, and the cover fits fine. Overall it’s a great light, but I had purchased it for a rather unique purpose, and in this case, one of the features of the product ends up being its downfall. When you have the light set to a certain “temperature” (Yellowish, white, or blueish) it will verryy slowly shift from one temperature to the other. Impossible to notice in most circumstances, but if you’re intending to use it for stop motion like I was, from frame to frame you’ll see slight shifts in the color of your lighting. Enough to where once you’ve shot 30 frames, it looks like you’ve got strobe lights instead of solid ones. For most people this won’t be an issue, but for me it’s a major one.
