    Best board game ever
We have a lot of games and this is probably one of my family’s favorites. We have played it a lot since we bought it. It has started a great trend of playing games together which is a fun way to spend time as a family. It is complex enough to keep interest but not so challenging that we don’t want to play it. It takes about an hour per game. It has been great for my 9 and 11 year old boys.

    – Games typically last 30-60 minutes
    Pros:
    – Beautiful, colorful design and components
    – Simple yet engaging gameplay
    – High replayability due to random destination tickets and variable player interactions
    – Suitable for families, casual gamers, and experienced players

Most fun board game with easy learning curve
Ticket to Ride is a board game that has earned its place as a modern classic, and for good reason. It’s a game that combines strategy, competition, and a dash of geography, all packaged into an experience that’s incredibly enjoyable for players of all ages. Having played Ticket to Ride, I can confidently say that it’s one of the most engaging and accessible board games out there.
The game’s premise is simple yet captivating: Players aim to complete train routes across North America (or other regions, depending on the version) to fulfill their destination tickets and accumulate points. Here’s what I love about it:
Accessibility: Ticket to Ride is remarkably easy to learn. You can teach it to newcomers in about 10 minutes, making it an excellent choice for introducing friends and family to the world of board gaming.
Engaging Strategy: While the rules are straightforward, the strategy runs deep. There’s a constant balance between completing routes efficiently, blocking your opponents, and adapting to unforeseen circumstances. This mix of planning and adaptability keeps the game interesting and competitive.
Beautiful Components: The game comes with high-quality components, including detailed train pieces and a colorful game board. The visual appeal adds to the overall experience.
Variety: Ticket to Ride offers multiple editions with different maps, each providing a unique experience. Whether you prefer the original North American map or want to explore other continents, there’s something for everyone.
Social Interaction: The game encourages interaction and friendly competition. You’ll find yourself engaged in conversations, negotiations, and even a bit of friendly rivalry as you strive to complete your routes.
Educational Element: Playing Ticket to Ride can be educational, as it offers a subtle way to learn about geography and city locations.
Replayability: With different maps and strategies to explore, you’ll find yourself coming back to Ticket to Ride again and again. No two games are ever quite the same.
    Highly Recommended.

    Fun and easy to play
This game is fun and easy to learn, one game can be played between 40 minutes and an hour, depending on how many people are playing. I do feel like $50 is a bit steep for a board game, but I do enjoy the game. Definitely a good buy when it’s on sale. Good game for teenagers and Adults.

    amazing game, everyone loves it!
I’ve always been hit or miss when it comes to board games, usually they’ll be decently fun at the start but I would get bored of them as we get a few more reps in. The first time I played ticket to ride I got hooked onto it. The game design and strategy is just top notch and the physical quality is pretty good. Pretty much everyone I’ve played it with has nothing but good things to say about the game.
They even have additional versions of the game now corresponding to various geographic regions and they don’t disappoint. I found that it’s also relatively colorblind friendly as there are various indicators to help you decipher the differences that aren’t just color based! Highly recommend!

    Great game
Our family has played this game so much since we got it! It’s been a favorite around our place. Compared to other board games, set-up is a breeze, and it’s a good one for a variety of ages—my 9-year-old sister has enjoyed playing it, as well as older members of the family. My only complaint would be how tiny the cards are—that makes them slightly more difficult to hold than most normal game cards. Still, well worth the buy. There’s lots of fun to be had and memories to be made around this game!

Fun game even for 2 players
My teen daughter & I play board/card games weekly so we’re always on the lookout for games that can be played just with 2 players. We love this game. Easy to understand & play. Not super quick or too long.

Happy with this purchase. Played it with friends and had to have it. Just the right amount of challenge and strategy while still being easy to learn. The cards are smaller in this edition but still very usable. (Most cards with this game are the size of a regular deck of playing cards these are a little more than 1/2 that size.) All the parts were there and in perfect condition. I also bought the UK expansion pack which does not come with it’s own trains (in case you decide to buy it). I expect many hours of fun in my future. If you love board games and like a little challenge, you’ll love Ticket To Ride.

As a self-proclaimed board game fanatic, Ticket to Ride quickly became one of my all-time favorites! It’s deceptively simple—just build train routes—but trust me, the competition heats up faster than you can say “choo-choo.” My family and I started off polite, quietly connecting cities, but before long, we were gleefully sabotaging each other’s routes.
The best part? It’s easy enough for beginners yet still strategic enough for seasoned gamers. If you like a mix of plotting, blocking, and a bit of luck, this game is a must-have!

It’s so chill (if you play with 3 people), it can get a bit hectic if you play with 4 and be prepared to ruin relationships but it will all be worth it because the game is excellent.
