A great resource for career union organizers
This book is a good read. It is a well-written book with lots of tips and insights into the world of Union organizing and recruiting. The author uses specific approaches you can use to increase your effectiveness in the field. There are no chapters, instead it’s more of a list of activities and actions to put into practice. I give it five stars!

Great Book written by a Great Man!
This book is written by a world class organizer who is extremely experienced. I bought two copies for my organizing team and was blown away by the in depth information that was written in such an easy to follow format. This book is a must have for any Union organizer or any activist looking to build power for their Union.

Saved My Career!
I wish I could explain the sensation I felt when I read the Introduction to the book before even buying it. It was like OMG this does happen to other organizers, it’s not just me! Goosebumps for sure but also a sense of belonging as a Union Organizer. I thought that I was feeling that way because I wasn’t cut out for the job, not able to handle the stress or the emotional roller coaster of Union Organizing. Coming from tools and seeing the production at the end of everyday and being proud of that. Then to being a Union Organizer and not seeing anything for who knows how long, it was literally driving me crazy and the felling of not living up to the expectations of the membership or my wages was the hardest part.I have no problem admitting I was ready quit and go back on tools, being one of the boys again, seeing production everyday and feeling proud of that. I told myself to exhaust every resource before I gave the position up through my searching I came across the Million Dollar Organizer. After reading the first few pages of this book I came to the conclusion that I never actually committed to being a Union Organizer as a career and building that legacy where you can actually look back and say I helped a lot trades people get fair wages, benefits and pension! Among many other thing like helping my community and the lest fortunate. The book also reassured me that the connections and relationships I make today may not see any beneficial outcome for years! But its about being the best you can be for the membership and educating the non-union that pays off over time. In today’s world and the future, the labor movement representing the middle class of North Americans is and will always be the last line of defense against corporate greed and inequality. Now that I’ve accepted the fact that my career and legacy is to be a Union Organizer the sky is the limit as long as the focus stays on Unity Above Self.Keep writing Bob the knowledge your mind holds should be shared with every Union member fighting in this labor movement.Thank you
