It was such a nice addition to my daughterâs room and an amazing Christmas gift. It was nice material and was very sturdy and easy to assemble and was small enough to fit in her headboard it works great to help her wake up in the morning and has never malfunctioned or anything. It is super easy to put together and set up the time. With only a few clicks of buttons the time was set and ready for her to use. It can be easily adjusted to whatever time you want! It is very durable and can be handled super easily and the material is really nice. Especially with the variety of colors you can get. It is smooth and is very cute with the mirror on the front of it! Love it would definitely recommend!

No more bulky black alarm
I love the way the clock looks on my nightstand. The time keeping has been accurate and I love the color around the rim. It is not bulky and your eye is not drawn to the alarm. I am a little disappointed in the base and that is why I gave a 4 star. It looks âplasticâ and feels very light weight. So far I have not been able to get the base to stay in the clock when picking the it up. The base simply appears to slide in and âclickâ to stay put but mine isnât doing that. The look and feel of this clock could be elevated with a metal base.

Like others have said, it’s about the size of a smartphone, but the numbers are big and clear so it’s perfectly readable even from across a room. The lowest brightness setting is perfect for nighttime even in a bedroom: The numbers are bright enough to read at a glance in the middle of the night but not so much that they make the room less dark. I put mine on the opposite side of my small bedroom, but it seems like it wouldn’t be annoying even right next to the bed.That said, it’s definitely a lot more cheaply made than what I would expect of something that costs $20. It’s VERY lightweight, which might be good I guess if you want to wall mount it, but it feels like a breeze could knock it over. It does look nice when you’ve set it down somewhere, but when holding it/pressing the buttons/etc. it feels more like something from the $10-$15 range.Another thing worth noting is that it has a USB cord, not an actual plug for an outlet. On one hand I guess this means anyone in the world can buy it without worrying about outlet compatibility, but on the other hand it might necessitate an additional purchase of an adapter depending on where you’re planning to plug it in. It does have USB ports on it, so I assume the intention is that you just plug it into a phone charger and then plug your phone into the clock when you want to charge it, but depending on where you keep your phone vs. where you want to put the clock, this may not be a viable solution.The main reason I’m taking stars off is that there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of quality control. The surface of my clock had no protective film on it and was badly smudged up – easily cleaned, but not what you would expect when buying a new item. There was no plastic strip protecting the battery contact either, so I’m just kind of blindly trusting that the battery compartment isn’t corroded. (I should probably open it and check, but, y’know… lazy.) It also already had an alarm set, and thank goodness I noticed before the alarm went off because it ALSO didn’t have any instructions in the box, so I had to go back to the Amazon listing and search the Q&A to figure out how to turn the alarm off. And I feel lucky that the only things missing from my item were the instructions and a couple bits of protective plastic – there are plenty of other reviews that mention missing stands and even missing power cords. It very strongly gives the impression that they’re taking returned clocks and just shipping them right back out without even opening the box to check the contents, let alone making any effort whatsoever to restore them to a “new” state before selling them at a “new” price.Is it a decent clock? Yeah, absolutely. As long as the USB thing isn’t an issue for you and you don’t set it down in a place where anything might bump it (because again, it won’t take much to knock it over), it’ll serve your digital timekeeping needs well. Do I recommend buying it? Not really, no. It’s luck of the draw whether you get a complete package, missing parts, or maybe even a damaged clock… You’re probably better off shopping for a different brand.

If you actually need to wake up on time, donât do it. Oh where to beginâ¦Ok so, you can only set 1 alarm. Thereâs also only 1 volume and it cannot be adjusted. So, when the alarm goes off, it sounds off for 2 minutes. Might sound like enough to some, but depending on how you sleep, it may not be and donât you want an alarm that actually does what itâs supposed to do no matter the conditions? If you donât wake up within that 2 minute period, YOU’RE SCREWED. It will not come back on. And since you cannot adjust the volume or set a second/back up alarm, youâre late. Late to work or wherever you have to be.You also have to be an IT expert and learn how to code before using this. Thatâs right, itâs coded. Therefore, do not think youâll read the instructions ONE TIME to set the time or the alarm and think youâll remember how to do either the next time. You could be in the Guinness Book for #1 Genius in the world and itâs just not happening. I would consider myself above average on the tech savvy meter. Well above average. But this isnât about me is it? The point is, no one wants their alarm clock to be this difficult. NO ONE wants to think this hard to set an alarm after a long stressful day. Setting our alarms should be one of the easiest things we do in a day. And you will have to do it every day bc thereâs no recurring alarm feature either.Oh and itâs very obvious that the person who wrote the user âmanualâ (itâs more of a little pamphlet but whatever) itâs very obvious that English is NOT their first language. Listen, I personally am all about diversity and inclusion and accepting ALL people no matter who they are. HOWEVER, just bc I would consider my second language to be Spanish (bc itâs the only other language I know lol) doesnât mean I would ever think Iâm qualified to write a pamphlet/manual/whatever in Spanish. No! Iâm not the right person for that job. See where Iâm going with this?The moral of this long A$$ story is that if you want an alarm clock thatâs user friendly and will actually do what an alarm clock is supposed to do, trust me, this ainât it! Actually, the one Iâve already gotten to replace this is everything I need and more. Your time and money are valuable. Highly recommend this clock as a cute and stylish decorative piece to any room.Although the reviews shed a poor light on this clock, I believe most the poor reviews were due to the user instead of the actual clock.I’m not a ‘tech savvy” person but the set-up of this clock is super easy and if you read the instructions quiet clear on how to set it up properly.I’m not using it as an alarm clock, but it is very light weight and the stand isn’t very sturdy so if you need to press a button regularly to turn it on and off this may be an issue.Other then that this is a trendy looking clock, that is easy to read, bright enough to see in any light and love the mirror background as a cool design touch!Love it!!!

Other reviews noted the brightness as a potential issue at night, for me the light sensor mode works well and I’m more than happy at the dimness in the dark. Perhaps more importantly, my wife likes a very dark bedroom, and even she says it’s not too bright.Yes it does illuminate the room, very slightly, but for me, it’s easy to see at night without being problematic.In daylight…. ITS BRIGHT!
