A perfect handbag for formal events! Two initial glitches with hardware quickly cleared up
I received an invitation to a formal evening event — first ever! — and was scrambling for an appropriate purse. I’m very pleased with its size and appearance, including optional chain strap. The glitter effect on the surface is just right (I ordered the black purse) and I like the gold feather closure. There were two minor hardware issues that might have led to a 4.5 star rating if that was possible, but which are not significant enough to shift a full step down to 4 stars: the “snap” mechanism that closes and secures the purse is a little “glitchy” — it has to be lined up just so to engage. With repeated use, it appears to be clicking shut more easily, but, at first, I had to “work it” some to align it correctly. The second hardware issue occurred when I was attaching the chain strap: One of the lobster-style clasps was easy to clip on to the small ring hardware on the purse, first try. However, I needed to use needle-nosed pliers on the second clasp to get the mechanism to budge open so I could attach that, too. The tiny knob to pivot open the lobster clasp would not move, appearing to be stuck closed. Once I worked it open with the pliers, then it seemed fine, and appears very securely shut now, too.Tip: Note the handy feature of how, given how the chain is attached on two small ring-shaped brackets that flexibly pivot in and out of the purse, you only have to attach the chain strap once. If you don’t want to use that chain every time you use the purse, simply pivot the strap’s brackets on the purse inside the compartment, along with the chain and, voila, you’re back to a basic clutch design. The chain, while study, takes very little space inside the purse. I’ve added two close-up views to illustrate how the straps’ connecting hinge can be flipped to the inside of the purse for use as a clutch, or flipped out for use of the chain strap — 1st view is looking into the interior of the purse, where the strap can be stored without fussing to disconnect the strap’s ends.

the glitter is NOT everywhere woo woo
I always worry when something says glitter but this is not a messy get everywhere kind it is just part of the bag thank goodness. It is such a pretty design with the organic flow of the leaf it really brings it up a notch from just being a black evening bag. It has a snap closure and it stays snapped no problem. The bag comes with a chain it is a nice weight and a good color not cheap looking at all. The chain has lobster claw clasps on the end to attach to the interior eyes. When you open the bag you get a little play with how wide since the satin lining has some elastic on the opening . I put a picture with a stick of deodorant in the bag so you can see how much room. Defiantly enough for a phone, some tissues, keys and a few other small items. The chain is very long in the pic I doubled it up so I could get it all in the shot but when it is on the bag it would come down to a bit lower than the hip. Very nice clutch in the hand not too wide or heavy,

Very elegant looking, super well made. The clutch is a hard case with a glittery exterior that doesn’t shed at all. The feather embellishment is actually the clasp that opens the purse. It also has a chain attachment if you want to give it a handle. Good quality, would highly recommend!

Its beautiful
I really like this item. It’s just as it’s pictured if not prettier in person. I can’t speak to the longevity of the leaf clasp however. It’s the perfect compliment to a fancy outfit, i’ve worn it out once already and i can’t wait to be dressed up enough to wear it again. It could definitely be worn in a dressed-down attire but i like how fancy it feels.
