Best Water Bladder Made
I have used a lot of different water bladders and had the same issue with all of them. They taste awful. Water should not taste like chemicals and plastic. That had never been an issue with these. I purposely left water in it for 5 day to test. There was no flavor. Not even a hint of plastic. This is the only brand I will buy, but I might not need another one. These a super durable. The first one has lasted 5 years and still works perfectly.

Used it for a Goruck event
This is pretty much the same material as the hydration bladder that GoRuck sells but for a much cheaper price. I participated in my first Goruck (Tough) Challenge and looked for a hydration bladder that could take a beating since we will be rolling around and doing crazy stuff with our rucksacks on. I was scared that my hydration bladder can’t withstand it & will eventually pop or leak so I did my research and looked for a good one that fits my budget and found this. The quality is impressive. I had no issues whatsoever. I also appreciate the zip-lock type opening because it makes it very easy to clean and fill up the bladder.

Great setup. Buy one. BUT order the bite valve with it: the valve it comes with is nearly worthless. It’s a bit awkward to operate with one hand, and if you don’t close it between drinks, it will spew water all over you and drain the reservoir through siphon action (unless you keep the mouthpiece above the bladder, of course). It’s a push-pull design, where “pull” is open. Good flow. It does turn to lock in the closed position, which is the only feature that keeps it from being totally worthless.The bite valve they sell fixes this issue, but be advised it is significantly less flow than Platypus brand bite valves. I suppose that could be a good thing in your rationing your water.They also sell an adapter that lets you fill the bladder through the hose via faucet, spigot, or water bottle, which I highly recommend.If it shipped with the bite valve, easily a five-star unit.

Spent a crap-ton of time comparing different hydration bladders to replace the one I had in my 2L sized quickshot backpack. Works great, even left it full of water in a hot car for over a month, no bacteria build up or leakage or anything. removable parts are solid and make cleaning/refilling easy. no leakage to report after 5 months of ownership. The cap on the mouthpiece is nice, had issues with previous ones being open to environment and getting dirt/bug spray on them.

I prefer it to my 3L Camelbak. Itâs tough, tasteless, has multiple ways to fill it, and is priced well. It is also easy to clean as the top opens up for cleaning or filling.

Leaked To High Heaven, Wouldn’t Recommend To Worst Enemy
The Source Hydration WXP Storm is a horribly designed hydration bladder. Sure, it’s easy to clean but that can’t make up for a seriously bad design. I returned the bladder I received as it was extremely difficult to keep filled. When filling it using the opening on the front of the bladder the screw camp was very difficult to get screwed down perfectly on the first, second, or third attempts. Once I was able to get it screwed on perfectly, it would leak from the top fold with the slightest amount of pressure applied to the bag when it was more than half filled. The “bite valve” wasn’t my favorite either. I did appreciate the fact that it wasn’t a traditional bite valve, the twist lock function wasn’t my favorite. I honestly wouldn’t even recommend this hydration bladder to my worst enemy and I could leave a review without a rating, I would.

Fácil llenado y limpieza. La manguera que tiene se puede soltar fácil y poder guardarla y limpiar adecuadamente. El agua se mantiene sin coger sabores al recipiente. Inconvenientes: la boquilla sà transfiere sabor al agua, poco pero lo hace; y si nada más beber no cierras la boquilla toda el agua regresa, teniendo que “beberte” el aire de toda la manguera en la siguiente ocasión. Para mi gusto, mucho mejor que otras que conocÃa.
