They are mesh metal racks, and expertly packaged. The box includes the frame, racks, screws, rubber feet, and the screwdriver. The instructions are clear and the steps are numbered for easy assembly. It’s larger than I imagined but that’s fine because I’m going to need all 5 shelves. Yes, I’m trying to get more organized. As an added bonus, the style matches my two pen holders. And my trashcan.FYI: the frame is one-piece, hinged, and without any sharp edges. The “Handles” are smooth and just wide enough, which is also very cool. All-in-all, a surprisingly excellent piece. (Not to be rude, but the “Made in China” was a bit scary. Until I opened it up.)

Functions as needed, easy to assemble, color as shown in photo (I purchased the purple.) It even came with a screwdriver to assemble the four screws you have to put in place. The only issue I had with it, was that the main shelf piece was a little bent and one of the âweldsâ on the shelf was loose. Other than that it seems good to go a week after using it.
