I received a set of 3 shelves from this same brand a few years ago, and recently decided to purchase more because I really liked the product. This time I purchased the 5 shelf set, and am very pleased. The shelves are fairly easy to set up, and I like their versatility in orientation. The quality of the shelves are great, and the price is even better. Shelves can be quite expensive, but the price for this set is unmatched. Will purchase again!

measure, measure, measure
The shelves look great and I even staggered up and down. However, the hubby was measuring over and over and over again. Luckily we were able to place the first one over the bad drill holes. And those plastic screw things? Just throw them out. Worthless. Some cheap stickers to help place the shelves to the exact spot would have been worth a million bucks. There must be a hack. Also the paint was, um, shall I say ‘thin on the ground’? You could see the wood through the paint. If I wasn’t in such a rush to get them up I would have painted them first.

Cute but a struggle to install
These shelves are cute, sturdy, and a great option for what I needed. But they were difficult to install due to everything being slightly off/crooked. I ordered three sets, and measured the distance between fixtures and there was as much as 1/8 of an inch difference between two of the same sized shelves. The screws that were included for installation were noticeably uneven, making it extra challenging to hang shelves correctly.

A Sanity-Saving Warning
I recently bought these modular shelves, and they were a complete letdown. The concept of arranging the shelves however you want is appealing in theory, but the execution is severely flawed.When I first opened the package, I noticed one corner of the shelves was damaged. My gut immediately told me to return them, but I made the ridiculous decision to keep them anyway. I was so determined to finally put an item on a shelf that I ignored every red flag. Big mistake.Even as someone comfortable with tools, it took me about three frustrating hours to get these shelves installed. Along the way, I ended up with unnecessary extra holes in my walls. The wood is poor qualityârough, uneven, and a nightmare to work withâwhich only made things worse.To top it all off, the design is so flawed that itâs almost impossible to get the shelves flush against the wall. Some things slip off and I’m to hesitant to put the one thing I bought the shelves for in the first place on them as it’s irreplaceable if broken.Bottom line: Donât waste your time or money on these shelves. Invest in something with better quality and designâitâs worth the extra cost. Save yourself the frustration. Youâll thank yourself later!

The boards were very easy to put up, and they are holding up well. The kit comes with anchors and nails which were very helpful. Perfect for books and small candles and things as such. I am pleased with my purchase.
