Good for the psoas
Being an individual with poor mobility and some SI joint issues, I’ve got some pretty tight muscles. Most things I can iron out with a lacrosse ball or jump-stretch band. However, the psoas is a tough area to loosen up. This ball has worked perfectly for me. It is large enough to get into the deep areas where the psoas is. Basically, I just lay face down on the ground with this ball on my stomach and find the tender spots.I am 6 feet tall and 225 lbs and this 4 inch ball has worked great for me.

a lot of variability in manufacturing. i have one ball from a couple of years ago that kept air well. i got a couple in june 2013 which have never held air well, plastic feels a different consistency than a couple of years ago. i’m hesitant to try again.
