Exceptional Comfort and Durability â Ideal for Avid Cyclists
As a cycle instructor at 24 Hour Fitness, I engage in cycling sessions four or more times a week, demanding high-performance gear. The Sponeed Men’s Cycling Shorts have proven to be the most comfortable and durable option I’ve encountered. The 4D gel padding provides excellent cushioning, ensuring comfort during extended rides. The moisture-wicking fabric keeps me dry, and the breathable material prevents overheating. The elastic waistband and silicone anti-slip bands at the thighs ensure a secure fit without discomfort. The vibrant color options add a stylish touch, and the quality of the material is evident. After more than a year of rigorous use, my initial pairs have only just begun to show signs of wear, which speaks volumes about their durability.I frequently recommend these shorts to participants in my cycling classes, confident in their value and performance. For the price, they offer exceptional quality and comfort.

So far so good. Comfortable and good looking
Have had these for a couple of months now. They are snug and well fitted. They look great and so far the quality is pretty good. It’s only been a couple of months, but I’ve enjoyed wearing these and I find that they’re not too hot either. And just the right fit. Value for money is pretty decent as well. Recommended

Big fan
Swore I would never wear skin tight cycling shorts…. but here we are. Normally wear loose fitting MTB shorts and padded liner undies. With a Brooks saddle on my steel touring/gravel bike, that’s been working well for a long time. But right around the 40-50 mile mark, my butt is usually OVER IT. So I hung my head in shame and ordered a pair of the upgraded pad shorts from this company and then also a pair of “bikewa” brand shorts. The bikewa shorts have the same style pad as my liner shorts. Soft but easily compressed. The sponeed shorts (upgrade version) are firmer and don’t squish down as easily. Was out on a weekend bike camping trip a couple weeks ago and after 60 miles I was still in pretty good shape down there. Was wishing my campsite was further because I just wanted to keep pedaling. So yeah, they are pretty comfy. You may need to size up. I wear 36-in waist pants. I think that would normally put me in the large category. After reading some reviews I decided to order the extra large and I’m glad I did. They fit just right. My only complaint is that they are UGLY. I could understand if they were Rapha shorts, maybe you wouldn’t mind having a big logo on the side of them so you could flex how much money you spent on them. But what the heck is a sponeed. Not a big fan of the budget Amazon brand name in big letters on the side of them. Wish they were just a solid color, with maybe a couple little reflective doodads.

Better than expected
These bike shorts are heavy material and pads. Stitching is nice and shorts are colorful. I am 194 pounds and ordered an xl. They fit fine. I like a little longer short and they are what I like. It’s been cold and raining but can’t wait to try them out. You will get your money’s worth.

Very High Quality for the Price, Be Careful on Size
These are very well made cycling shorts. I especially like the type and shape of the padding. I would caution the end user about the sizing. I’m 5′ 8″ tall and weigh 140 lbs. I have a waist size of 32″ with a 30″ inseam. (For reference: Wrangler size 32 pants and shorts fit comfortably). My thighs are 20″ at their widest, and are about 17″ two inches above the knee cap. I originally ordered size M (US) which is L (Asian). I found that while the waist, seat, and padding are fine, the elastic just above the knee cap was very tight. I decided to keep them and I use them for rides of an hour or less. I then ordered a pair in L (US) which is XL (Asian). These are more comfortable around the thigh just above the knee and are much more comfortable to wear for an extended period. The waist and seat still seem to fit ok. There is a slight difference in that the padding is a bit larger than on the smaller size and it is noticeable but not objectionable. I now use the US size M for my regular one hour training rides, but when I go on an extended tour where one would be on and off the bike most of the day, I’ll wear the US size L. One can sit for an hour or two off the bike and not feel like your lower legs are going to go to sleep. Not sure if the smaller pair will eventually stretch out. I have washed both pairs a couple of times and the tight ones have loosened very slightly, but are still very snug near the knee. But overall, I think these Sponeed cycling shorts are an excellent value. I would recommend them to anyone, with the caveats noted.

Great Long Distance Shorts at Great Price
This is my second pair of these shorts. I purchased them after good success with a pair from a couple of years ago and in need of another pair for long distance that I could rotate out. I’ve purchased long distance shorts from other companies that were hundreds of dollars more and they have nothing on these shorts. They fit well (I saw the other review about occasional pinching of, um, delicate areas, but a quick adjustment seems to resolve that issue, as does initially making sure that the shorts are fully pulled on and there’s no sag in the crotch) and maintain their comfort for long rides of 50+ miles. The first pair is still going strong after numerous washes, with little noticeable wear. You can’t beat the quality and comfort for this price.

Bought the NICEWWIN, nice shorts but the padding although the right thickness it was too soft, got a large, fit was good.Bought the SOUKE nice shorts, great padded but after a while on the saddle you feel the spaces between padded areas, this gets better after you wear it a few times. I will buy another pair, I originally got a large and it was a little big so I’ll get a medium next go round. The Sponeed was a nice blend of the first two, good padding but not over padded, and is a pleasure to wear. Bought a Medium, fit was good but can’t go smaller.Iâm 165lbs. 5â 10â waist 34â thin legs.
