Not Bad, a little finicky
Overall, this door lock/deadbolt is pretty nice. Like many Korean products entering into a global market, their apps need a bit of fine tuning. Overall, the lock in and of itself works pretty well. It’s a little finicky at times with how the touchpad works, but generally speaking, it’s not bad enough to annoy or disrupt. Just something that I’ve noticed.

Solid lock, easy to set up and use
I ordered this to install on the door at the family cottage, and I’m thrilled with it. It installed fairly easily within about 20 minutes, and took another few minutes to set up a couple of PIN codes for family members and one for EMS (essential for us due to multiple family members with chronic medical issues).I love that it can be unlocked with a traditional key, which has helped win over the technophobes in the family, though I prefer to use the app to unlock when I’m grabbing groceries from the truck to head inside. The autolock function is really useful, too, as there are sometimes uninvited visitors to the cottage due to its location; it DID take a bit of fussing with getting the strike plate perfectly aligned in order to get that working reliably.

Smartsolity app is a joke
It always show the door is unlocked. Touch the lock image to lock or ulock the door lock. It does nothing. No way I can open/close the door when I wasn’t home

Smart Digital Electric Deadbolt Keypad Lock
Smart Digital Electric Deadbolt Keypad LockI just installed the keypad on my front door, and it’s incredibly convenient not having to fumble with keys anymore. With the ability to use my fingerprint for entry, I feel like my home is both secure and high tech. Plus you can set up to 100 custom codes, which is way cool. The WiFi connectivity and easy installation made it super easy to upgrade my security system without any hassles. I give it 5 stars.

Hard to figure out and no customer service
So the instructions are not good. I finally figured out that I can add extra PIN codes in the APP but not on the lock itself. The lock itself only accepts 4 PIN codes. As long as the APP works, it will be okay for me. It would be great if someone could provide a real user manual that explains everything. The other problem is that customer service does not respond to emails and you cannot call them.

Solid digital deadbolt
The installation took me around three hours because I had to drill and carve out hole space on my door and frame. But if you’re replacing an already existing deadbolt, it would probably take less than 20 minutes to set up with a + screwdriver. You will need to make one extra screw hole on your door, however.The title of this digital door lock says “designed in Korea”, but I didn’t find any labeling anywhere on the box or product itself. Doesn’t say where it is made, either (as far as I can tell). I like Korean products so I was disappointed about that.Anyway, the digital lock itself is actually quite nice. I installed this on a basement door. Some things to consider are that the automatic locking/unlocking mechanism is weak and will stall if the strike plate isn’t aligned perfectly. That’s kind of frustrating for me because my strike plate was slightly off center so I have to physically press the door closed all the way for the auto mechanism to work. This means features like “auto lock” or “unlock from your phone app” won’t work properly until the strike plate is perfectly aligned (that’s on me though, and is not a fault of the lock).You can set up to ten user pin codes, between 4-12 digits. The master pin code has to have at least 6 digits, however. You need the master pincode in order to delete, add, change the new pin codes. An unusual quirk, which may be intentional, is that the lock will accept any string of digits as long as a correct pin is either at the beginning or end of the string. So if my password is 1234, then the lock will open also for 7771234 as well as 1234777. It would not accept 77123477, or 17273747, however. My understanding is that this is to fool any spies that may be watching you put your code in, where you can put in random gibberish, then end with your true code.The instructions for setting up the new pins isn’t super clear, but once you figure it out, it is actually pretty easy. The touch pad is responsive and gears are smooth. My lock doesn’t have the fingerprint feature but I know there is one available.There is a magnetic sensor included that you can attach by your lock to trigger whenever it is open/closed, and sends you a notification through the app. I personally do not like to install unknown apps on my phone, and I have several security cameras to detect intruders, anyway. So I don’t use the app, and this have no need for the magnetic sensor. But I can see this being a great tool if you have multiple people entering/leaving and you want to track who is coming and going, and when.Really the only downside with this digital lock is the gears are weak and won’t work when the strike plate isn’t perfectly aligned (the manual mentions this as well). I’m sure other digital locks are similar, however, and this issue is more of a user issue, so I will not deduct stars.Overall, I would recommend this lock to others if they find it at a good price below some similar locks of the name brands out there.
