Almost nothing to complain about with this. The measurements seem to be accurate given the small gap where the end of the tape measure locks back into the body of the device. Tension could be improved by a lot though. I usually have to help pull the tape back toward the body to get the tension correct. Reports on the app take about 1 – 1.5 seconds sometimes, not too bad, but if that were faster it would be nice. Otherwise, this product is very easy to use, the case is nice to keep it in for protection as it bounces around in my bag with other gear. I like it and would buy it again in any case.

I bought this smart tape because I see the reviews are great and want to try it out to measure my fitness as well as my diet progress. I never tried this kind of tape before but after reading the reviews, it convinces me to buy and try it. Upon receiving, I am so excited to test how it works. After reading the short manual which only 3-page long and put the battery in, I began to notice that it’s not in correct measurement after few tests. The tape doesn’t show the correct number as the manual tape shows. It’s somehow added 0.7 inch more on the zero position and there’s no tare button to make it back to normalize the measurement. It is very inconvenience to keep subtracting 0.7 inch from the result to make up the differences.I look up some of the previous reviewers or comments that have the same issues as mine and confirmed that there’s no way to fix this problem, no tare button. I don’t even bother to download and install the app because there will be no use of it.Luckily there’s still time to return this tape measure so I don’t end up spending my money for nothing. I wish that the seller can somehow add a tare button so it will solve this out-of-measurement issue in the future.

Itâll be nice if youâd at least provide a small screw driver to open it to put the battery in! Screw is so small that itâll take eyeglasses screw driver! Which I donât have one laying around. Pretty annoying
