A Must-Have for Parents on the go
I’m really enjoying this diaper bag backpack by Skip Hop. I have two other diaper bags which we place in different cars but this one may be my favorite for a number of reasons, but most of all it’s just roomy and simple inside. My other diaper bag does have little pouches and slots for multiple things but when it comes to finding stuff I’m always finding myself pulling everything out of it and also those slots take up a lot of room and often go unused like an insulated area for bottles where as your little one gets older you don’t need to carry bottles around.Pros:Spacious and Well-Organized – I love the opening where it’s when unzipped it’s wide and you can pull things in and out easily. There’s a separate pocket for the diaper changing pad which I thought helped a lot in terms of always knowing where that is and having it’s own spot for it.Comfortable – The padding on the straps make this bag very comfortable to wear particularly when it’s stuffed with diapers, a computer bag, extra clothes, snack and more. I like that the back part of the bag allows for air circulation so when wearing it, I don’t get too hot.Exterior Material – The exterior material is waterproof and easy to clean. It seems well constructed to hold up to daily use. My kiddos are always spilling stuff and knocking drinks over and having something that’s waterproof is a must have when we’re on the go.In summary, this has made parenting so much easier. Can’t get a better bag than this.

Great bag. Basic but easy to clean, Large open space
Build Quality:The bag is well built and has no defects. The construction is great, the zippers work well and there is reinforcement stitching at several points (straps, pouches, etc.) The material is nice, it is obviously man made but is soft like leather.Use:The bag is great for storage. It doesn’t have a lot of pockets but does have one big open space that opens up wide. We solved the pocket problem by putting several small items into small bags: We put all the diaper changing supplies / topicals in a small bag. All the other bulky items : Diapers, blanket, bibs, change of clothes all go in the main compartment. We put toys , snacks in the bags outside pocket. Because there is only one compartment it is easy to see everything at once and there is no fumbling around through a jillion different pockets.ComfortThe bag is a medium sized bag and is very comfortable to wear. The straps and back are airy and cushioned well.CleanupThe bag has easy to clean surfaces.Stroller straps:The bag includes stroller straps on the arms, which can also double as a holder for small items.Final thoughts:This is a great bag that I highly recommend.

Such a convenient diaper bag!
This is the first time I have had a diaper bag that is a backpack, and I will never go back. It is so easy to carry, even when my hands are full with other important things. The fabric it is made from is wipeable inside and out, which is hugely important. The color is subdued, which makes it so my husband will carry it happily! It has a large zipper that makes the main compartment open almost all the way which is great when I am searching for something that has made it’s way to the bottom. The front compartments are also super convenient and there are side areas for easy access bottles or sippy cups. The backpack is durable and has been holding up extremely well.

I really love this diaper bag. It is really durable and well made. The fabric is easy to wipe down and there is plenty of space for all the necessities. It even comes with a simple, efficient changing mat which is a nice bonus. The straps and back of the bag are generously padded. I really like that the shoulder straps have a set of stroller attachment straps. It’s nice to have the option so the bag doesn’t have to be carried and it’s not taking up space in the bottom cargo compartment of the stroller. It also still allows easy access to the bag in case something needs to be grabbed from it. Overall, this bag is thoughtfully designed and excellent quality.

Expected more
Given the price point and reputation of the brand (I have other Skip Hop products I love), I expected more from this diaper bag, and it really left me feeling a little disappointed. Overall, itâs a fine bag – large capacity, feels durable. The easy-to-wipe-down exterior is really just plastic, and it feels and looks like it (hard to tell exactly in pics, clear in real life).The organizing pockets in the description are minimal – main compartment is really just one huge, open main compartment. This might not be a bad thing depending on how you want to use it, but is a little awkward for baby necessities without extra pouches, etc. The side insulated pocket doesnât seem particularly insulated, but I havenât tested it, so maybe it actually is.There is a laptop pocket in the back, which will be nice when I need to bring my toddler somewhere with me in addition to my big work laptop. That said, Iâm not sure Iâd consider this professional looking enough to consider making it a work bag when diaper bag days are behind me.Overall, itâs not a bad bag per se – just pay attention to what it actually excels as and see if that fits your needs.

Great baby backpack!
My wife and I really love this backpack! Itâs got a refreshingly, simple design, and it is insulated to help keep the contents cold. We also enjoy the folding changing pad in the back pocket. Definitely comes in handy in a pinch!
