It works!
I bought this glove to use with my flat iron, so that I could grip the barrel end how I wanted to. Yes, you can still feel some heat but itâs minimal and does not burn you. It really just feels warm. Itâs a little bulky being that I have a pixie cut so itâs harder to tell if Iâm gripping all of my hair but thatâs minor and as time goes on, I know Iâll get used to it. My glove had no smell and no melting, as the material feels like a typical winter glove.

Not perfect for the use I intended
I misplaced the glove that came with my Calista hair tool. I got this glove as a replacement however it isnât ideal. This glove would work well with a curling iron. However the Calista has bristles and they snag the fibers of this glove and cause pulls. It does protect my hand from the heat.

Really works!
Game changer for me. No more burns from curling wand, plus I also now put it on my left hand to hold sections of my very hot hair while Iâm using my brush dryer with my right hand. This is much thicker material and looser fit than the one that came with the curling wand, itâs almost like a cottony work glove so I was thinking it wasnât going to resist heat but it sure does! Definitely more heat resistant than the one that came with my wand.

Surprisingly Useful
I got these on a whim. I saw them as I was browsing Amazon. I was surprised at how well they worked. No more burnt fingers trying to put hot rollers in my hair! Just put on the gloves and take your time getting the rollers in correctly. Also, I use it when curling my bangs with the curling iron. Easy to hand wash and lay flat to dry. Easy to care for and a good find. I’m very glad I purchased these.

Great product. Does exactly what it says. Stops me burning my fingers while using curling/straightening iron, however it’s not going to save your fingers if you hold them on their too long (but that is not what it’s designed for).
