Great!
I took in a longhair stray cat and I only ever had shorthair cats. I was introduced to some not so fun bits remaining in the butt fur a few months ago. I only had regular scissors which did work, but shortly after I got this set of scissors. I feel much more confident using these scissors since they have the rounded safety tips. The metal comb is also really great at getting out tangles. I haven’t used the nail clipped yet, but this is a really great set for the price.

So far so good but
The clippers don’t open large enough for big claws. You can cut small and eat dog nails with these clippers but a German shepherd or labs claws are far too large. My Aussies nails are just barely small enough that they can clip the tips off.The comb is OK. Comparable to the name brands, scissors are good and sharp. Thinning shears cut a bit more than my name brand ones but doesnât leave the coat “choppy” all in all, highly recommend this set. Itâs affordable and certainly work well.

Perfect for my long haired dachshund!
These scissors work so well for my long haired dachshund! Itâs easy to use, very sharp and are curved edges. Great value for the money and are durable!

The curved shears don’t align properly
The curved shears aren’t aligned right, which significantly affects their functionality. I did buy this set specifically for the curved pair, so I was a bit disappointed. The other two shears work pretty well. I believe these reflect the price point. The nail clippers are very cheap.

Very Nice Kit – Use it primarily on long haired cats
We have two long haired cats that get bad tangles in their fur and we periodically have to comb and cut out the tangles. Once I nicked the cats skin and felt terrible. These scissors have rounded safety tips to endure you don’t nick the pets skin. The scissors have rubber pads in the finger holes that make the grip on them secure. This is a very nice kit that is also very reasonably priced.

Worked great on my dogs fur!
Shears seem very sturdy and they cut well. Not super lightweight shears but they arenât crazy heavy either. The comb is metal so it is also sturdy and gets through his matted fur(husky/shepherd mix). Will be continuing to use these on his fur in the future.
