Some will find it helps with wrist pain
I’m not about to call this device life changing but there is a use case that I think many will find beneficial. Do to sins in my past when young and invincible, I am stuck with an arthritic wrist which is an unwanted, annoying, daily friend. I can manage it with medication or heat treatments but I noticed episodes would be worse following evenings spent doing a lot of reading. I read a lot and that increases when I can’t sleep due to wrist pain. When I saw this product it spurred a thought. Maybe, if I wasn’t holding a book (kindle in my case) for several hours every night, sometimes at weird angles, it may reduce the severity of the wrist pain. The price point was reasonable in my opinion so I took a chance and ordered this device. I paired that with a flexible, magnetic, gooseneck phone/tablet holder and changed the way I lay down at night reading.Its not perfect but after a little experimentation, I have found a way to stick my kindle in the air at a good reading distance, comfortably hold my hands wherever they naturally want to rest and turn pages with a quick click of the button. This works both laying on my back, sitting up in bed or resting on my side looking towards the close side of the bed. I can even make it work if laying on my stomach. The one use case it doesn’t work is when laying on my side facing my spouse. That is more of a limitation of the gooseneck holder than the clicker. I simply tug off the kindle from the holder and rest it on a pillow on my other side if I feel like it. I’m still subject to my kindle getting knocked over but its works. The side benefit to being able to have my hands comfortably under the warm covers on a cold day is hard to overemphasize too. How quickly we adjust to more creature comforts. I even use the clicker now when reading on the couch. If I were a cat, I would be purring loudly.I’ve noticed a significant reduction in wrist pain and my spouse has talked about getting one for herself after originally giving me a bit of a light ribbing for this expenditure. I still have bad days but I have no regrets in spending the money for this setup. The clicker device itself has worked flawlessly in the month I have used it. It does go into sleep mode faster than my kindle but its a simple click of a button to wake it back up and you can start turning pages again. Mostly happens when I’m in that nodding off but not really moving into deep sleep mode. The clip holding the clicker to the kindle screen is well engineered and is easy to straighten if I knock it too much. The remote works perfectly and charging with a USB-C port on both pieces is a nice touch. I alternate plugging each of them every week. Have not had either run out of battery power yet so can’t really tell you how long they hold a charge for. I don’t really use the wrist strap for the remote but its nice to have that available.

How did I live without this!!
I love this page turner! It has made reading such a luxury, especially at night. I love the fact that I can prop my Kindle on something, get under the covers and just read without moving! I have my Kindle in a thick case. I simply cut a little slit in the side and it fit right in. I have had no issues with pages turning at all. It’s easy to charge and a charge lasts longer than my Kindle charge, which is amazing. Customer Service is very quick and responsive. I had an issue with mine and they didn’t hesitate to send me another one.I would absolutely purchase this again!

Stopped working but good customer service
Update – seller reached out, satisfied with resolutionI liked this a lot when it worked. It would often disconnect but was easy enough to relive by holding down the button. But yesterday it stopped working completely. I thought maybe the battery was dead so I charged both pieces but it just will not work. Used it barely longer than a month.

Had to translate the instructions, but it works. Batteries last and it has some reach on signal. It’s small but not so small that it gets lost easily. And once it’s set up it doesn’t get in the way of reading. Pair it with a reading pillow and you’ve got hours of comfy reading.

It stopped working on a few months very disappointed with it. It was great then it wasn’t.That was my original review, but after reaching out to customer service they were wonderful they helped me with the issue and sent me a new one. Good functionality, questionable battery
This product works the way it’s supposed to in terms of functionality, so when it’s working, it’s great. I’m using it on a 9-year-old Kindle, and it turns the pages as advertised. However, I only get about two hours of reading on a single charge of the remote (the part that clips on to the Kindle last much longer as other reviewers have noted). It’s super frustrating and takes much of the convenience out of the product.Updated from 2 stars to 4 stars in Dec. 2024: the battery of the remote has spontaneously started to hold a charge better. I haven’t had to charge it in days. I have no idea what prompted the change, though, and can only hope this improvement will last long term.

I kept contemplating getting this because as a canadian it comes up to about $40 and I was like is that worth being able to only change the pages forward? Well im here to tell you yes it definitely is and hereâs why also want to address some concerns i saw from reading the thousands of reviews on amazon:- I initially thought just getting the gooseneck stand would be enough but even though it is sturdy and awesome when you tap to advance the page it shakes the holder and for me this is very distracting only way around it is to gingerly ever so lightly try to tap as to not disturb it (which you can do by all means but it gets annoying esp if you are a fast reader your hand ends up having to suspend in the air waiting to tap which kind of defeats the purpose of âhands-freeâ- with the remote you have the option of easier reading at a distance for ex having your kindle on a stand on a table while you eat etc. for those who think they wouldnt be able to see just make the font larger! Remote in one hand and utensil in the other and boom can eat and read so easily- reviews about the clip breaking – the clip is very tight so i can understand if someone is agressively opening and closing it how it can break but the whole unit feels good quality and i do not think it will break if you are taking care when using it – also most ppl dont read instructions it tells you the max size your case can be to use it with a case just make sure you are checking that yours is okay (i found the measurements for mine from the amazon lisiting i bought it from)- size of attachment- i really expected the clip part to be huge like a garage remote because thatâs what it looked like but its actually quite small and travel friendly- everything feels over all well made and comes with everything you need and extras (dust plug, sticky tabs, lanyard)- battery lasts extremely long, used it every day since i got it for HOURS at a time (3+ hours a day) and it only died today after almost 3 weeks of owning it
