Convenient and smart
I bought this foldable electric food warmer for a baby shower and I’m so glad I did! It’s portable, space saving and just all out functional! The silicone matting, kept the appetizers right down to the deserts heated, evenly the whole shower, I was so impressed! It also wasn’t tacky looking like the other foil pans I used to use. The main thing that I loved about this is that it is a smart warmer, you can take control with an app anywhere in your home or event. It adjust times, temps, and it can even start or stop functions. You cannot get any better than that, or can you. You can take this anywhere with you wherever you want to go, now I call that amazing!

Warming mat
This warming mat is a great addition to my kitchen. Big enough to hold 4-6 plates or bowls warms without over cooking or drying food. Easy to clean and store. I highly recommend this product!

Poor performance
This is a nice looking product, but controls are intermittent. When adjusting temp or time, numbers will stop advancing halfway to desired setting. Turn it off and turn it on again, and it will work like it should.Switching modes (six available), it will change for three and then will not advance. Reboot and then it will advance modes. Controls are very “squirrelly”.Heat transfer from mat to the food is poor.We kept trying to make it work satisfactorily, but we missed our window to return.

Good heating mat. NOT a stove, don’t expect it to cook your meals for you! Bad manual.
Here’s another new product that you can’t just give to a user and tell them to RTFM. (Read The *** Manual). In this case, that may not work.First a quick note as to why I gave it only 4 stars.While it works as described, this product comes up short in one very important operational aspect:The manual lacks the most important instruction: how to start and stop a heating cycle.Sure, after 30 minutes reading the manual, plugging it in, trying to make it work, RE-reading the manual, trying to make it work, etc, etc etc., I was about to give up when I noticed that the standby cycle had actually changed! (To the Heating cycle!)I’ll admit, the manual is clear as to how to turn it on and off, how to change heating cycles and customize temperatures, but nowhere I could find any clue as to how to actually put it into HEATING mode once you’d successfully changed the mode/cycle to the desired setting.Turns out it is one of the simpler solutions that an engineer could design, but obviously one too obvious for the manual writers or sellers to fully explain.I’ll save any frustrated readers some time here. Simply tap the on/off button once quickly after you’ve set it to your ‘mode’. Stupidly simple, some of you are probably saying. No, some of us (those of us who had to struggle through training users in technology for decades) know that a simple, push this button again, @@@@@, is often necessary.I tried this manual out on another family member who struggled 45 minutes before I relieved them of the pain and frustration. Kept on switching modes, kept on keeping finger pressed solidly on the power button, forcing the whole device to completely shut off.If you’re going to market and sell something like this, take pity on the buyer or user. At the least put a crucial button function somewhere in the manual so it’s not your fault if they send the unit back to you as faulty or defective.At this point in life I would not assume that anyone out there innately knows how to use a device new to them. Give us all a break and stop omitting crucial clues from your manuals!!!!!
