long lasting scrubbing pad
These are my go to.. good price point and they last forever. My favorite thing about these is that they do not stink after a couple uses. They scrub off difficult, caked on food with little effort too. I will buy these again!

We have been using these sponges for a number of years, and I’m constantly amazed how well they perform. Food particles and liquids just rinse right out, and never discolor. It’s good to wash them periodically anyway.They don’t last forever. The mesh will deteriorate with use. it is still surprising that they last as long as they do.

My favorite sponge is the Lola sponge, but I haven’t been able to find it for some time. I also like the Turn-A-Bout sponge (I think by Dow), but also extremely hard to find. I like a foam sponge interior (rather than the typical sponge that looks sort of like cottony Swiss cheese inside). I like the foam interior because you can actually wring out all the soap residue and you can’t do that with the Swiss cheese variety. It’s important to get all the soap residue out of the sponge because mildew loves soap residue which is what makes your sponge smell so bad so fast. This sponge lasts for week,it works well scrubbing, and you can wring it out well for cleanliness.

What I was really looking for was a replacement for cellulose sponges which I’ve used all my life. I didn’t really want a scrubber. Just the softer side of combination sponges. These got good reviews so I bought them.When they arrived I thought they were too big for washing glassware such as wine glasses, coffee pots, etc. But now that I’ve used them for awhile, I really like them. Actually, I’m still on my first one and it shows no sign of wearing out after a few months of use. I’ve put it in the dishwasher and it comes out fine. It doesn’t smell or appear to retain any food residue. I’m now used to the size and it is fine.So, I’d recommend these sponges! If you buy a 9 pack you are set for quite a while!
