Definitely recommended
This auto feeder is easy to use, and easy to set up for your pet. It works great deeds right on the schedule you set for your pets. Simple to take off to refill once empty. Super easy to clean, the bowl part actually comes out for you to wash with ease, which I just think is a really nice touch so your not grabbing the whole thing to wash the bowl. It can be a little slow ish when putting the food out but nothing really crazy. You can set what size portion you want for your pets, I set mine to 2 with a snack of 1 through the day and works great for my pets.

Useful, but can make a mess
In general, I like this feeder – easy to set up, easy to clean, easy to initially schedule – but it has its caveats as well. We have a lot of cats, which means a lot of portions per scheduled feeding. Unfortunately, not all of these portions make it to the front of the bowl. Instead they tend to pile up at the mouth where the food comes out, and then spill over the sides where the bowl meets the feeder. I feel this could be improved with a little engineering. A rectangular bowl that traveled along the entire front face of the feeder would catch any overlap, and keep it from spilling out on the floor where it tends to collect under the bowl and the feeder, potentially attracting insects and the like. Another drawback is that the controls are in the back of the feeder rather than above the bowl. This means the controls are against the wall, and if you want to manually feed your pet, you have to pull it away from the wall and tilt it forward a significant amount (because there’s a bit of an overhang that hides the buttons from view when looking down from above), which tends to spill any food that might still be in the bowl on the floor. So yeah, I like it, but it’s not my BEST automatic feeder. Might be the best value for the price though. It’s definitely worth your consideration, and I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Easily tipped over if you have a food driven cat.
It works when you set the timer, and the portions work too. But my cat knocked this over easily and got a good amount of food out while we weren’t home. He was able to stick his arm inside and of course knocking it over makes food fall out too. I wouldn’t have expected much more for the price, but it’s disappointing it didn’t work for us like we hoped.

Malfunctions make it worse than manual feeding
I bought three of these feeders six months ago. Through the app you’re supposed to see the feeding times, it just repeats what’s scheduled whether the feeder functioned or not. There’s also no indication through the app if the feeders are not working or empty other than an “offline” state you have to go into the app to see that doesn’t always appear when the feeders aren’t working and they often don’t work.Also the feeders only work through the app, you can’t set times or have the feeders release food manually outside the poorly functioning app.Essential my animals aren’t being fed, it’s indicating that they have and it’s dangerous. It’s really the worst cause senecio.
