I’ve had this bad boy for around 9 years and it’s been a real workhorse. I went to Europe 3 times, Mexico 4 times, Disney world once and all over the US with my husband and 3 kids. I always put this in my carry on bag and let the whole family run off of it. It has never let me down yet. It kept everyone charged on long haul flights, long layovers and all day tours. It no longer quick charges but as old and well used as it is I’m not going to complain. I wish it wasn’t so bulky and heavy, it might be that the newer ones are smaller but I’m going to use this one until it dies.

Big and heavyâ¦..but I simply cannot live without it
I have had this workhorse of a battery for 2 years already and it is still going strong. The battery life is amazing. I donât think I have ever totally depleted this battery even after letting it sit for an extended amount of time and charging multiple devices. I do keep this in my end pocket of my baggallini purse when traveling and admittedly it does get a little bit heavy after a while however, I am not willing to risk losing photo moments over a dead battery, so I carry it. It stows nicely and I can run a cord from my bag to my devices easily. Sometimes on vacation, I just use this on the nightstand to charge all of my devices simply because there isnât an outlet nearby (perfect for cruising). This battery can charge multiple devices at once and fairly quickly, too. I always recommend this battery to everyone and I went looking in my history to order an additional one and I thought I would leave a review.

Great to have for power outages!
This battery bank was a bday gift to me, as a friend of mine heard what I went through during a 35+ hr power outage recently. He said that he loves this product and that it’s quite helpful. The battery bank arrives fully charged and you must drain it, therefore, you need to charge all of your items up. That took just about 3 days! This is a great battery bank to have! To charge the unit itself, that took 12 hrs. This unit does not come with its own charging cord, so you must use what you already have at home. It’s quite powerful and heavy too. And it’s a great price. Would probably be a good idea to have more than one. Whatever you do, never charge your devices in the car, with it turned off, as that will drain the car battery. If you must charge in the car, always turn the car on. You can only idle a car for a short time, so if you can drive around for a little bit, that works. This battery bank charged 3 lanterns, 2 smaller and older battery banks, and my phone 3 times! It’s good practice to monitor your battery banks and charged devices every 3 months, and to keep them fully charged, so write that in your date book or calendar app. Also be aware that it cannot go on any airplane, not in carry on or in packed luggage. It will be found and confiscated/removed from the flight due to a fire hazard, since it’s quite a powerful unit. Instead of giving disposable gifts this holiday season, might I suggest that you give the gift of this battery bank to friends and loved ones, so that in times of outages, they can have emergency lights on and the use their phones.

Great product, great capacity, and fully compatible with Samsung “fast charge” devices
For me, it’s critical to have a charging battery that fully supports Samsung’s “fast charge” feature. Since Samsung has actually dropped the ball on making a large charging battery for their fast charge phones. (Their largest available at the moment has a 6000 milliamp capacity.) My phone is a Galaxy S8+, which has a 3500 milliamp capacity; I wanted a battery that was good for several charges. I tested this battery pack running it through two complete charging cycles. It charged my phone through rather heavy daily use for 6 1/2 days. (Had I not had location service turned on some of the time, it doubtless would have lasted the whole week.) The price of this battery pack is very reasonable, also! (Samsung charges nearly twice as much for their battery with 1/5 the capacity.) If you are charging it from a Samsung “fast charge” cord, the LED lights turn blue. (They’re red for “regular” charging.) The lights also turn blue when charging a “fast charge” compatible device. (The tiny instruction sheet doesn’t explain this.) Note that to do a fast charge on a Samsung device, you need to use the USB out with the blue tab in the middle. (You will want to blank the screen to get a full-fledged fast charge, but for sure, it charges well while the phone is in active use.)This battery pack doesn’t come with any cords, but of course it can charge and be charged with any cords that work with your mobile devices. This battery is large and heavy – certainly not something that would fit in any pocket, but it’s fine in carry-on baggage. I’ve run into other batteries that were supposedly capable of a fast charge, but which don’t deliver. This one delivers! It works very well.
