Great Jacket For Cycling In Michigan Winters
First I’ll address the sizing of the jacket. I am 5′ 10” and weigh 196 lbs. I normally wear a large in men’s jackets. Because of the reviews and questions answered by other purchasers on Amazon I ordered an XL. I wanted to be able to have layers of clothing underneath to keep warm riding in southeastern Michigan winters. The XL will allow me to do this. The jacket fits good. The sleeves are a little long but not a problem.The function of the jacket is great. I have ridden for about a month now in temperatures ranging from about 45 degrees to 30 degrees Fahrenheit. In warmer weather I wore a long sleeve t-shirt under the jacket. In colder weather I’ve worn a short sleeve and long sleeve t-shirt. I’ve never been cold or too hot because the jacket breathes great. I do sweat but that’s to be expected. That’s the point of riding! When the weather gets colder I’ll wear a sweatshirt under the jacket. I’m impressed with the performance of the jacket. The pockets are plentiful and useful. They are large enough for my cell phone and wallet. In addition to the outside pockets there are a couple of inside pockets on both sides of the lower front of the jacket. The front zipper takes some getting used to as it is the opposite of zippers on most American clothing. The front and pocket zippers also have little pulls which are not easy to work with but none of these features are show stoppers. I also like the very tall neck of the jacket to protect my neck from the cold. Riding in cold weather the only part of my body that got cold was my face. The only thing I would change on the jacket is the color. For safety black isn’t the best/brightest color. There are some small reflective parts of the jacket but I don’t think they are sufficient. I wear a lightweight netted fluorescent green vest over the jacket.Over all I am very happen with my purchase of this jacket. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Thus I give it 5 stars!

Warm, weather poof, awesome jacket!
I really needed a winter/early spring cycling jacket because wearing a regular jacket wasn’t cutting it, nor thermal jerseys but I didn’t want to drop a lot of money as Spring was right around the corner. I really hated most of the women’s jackets that I found online because nothing ever has pockets and the colors are always ridiculous, so I decided to try this and bought it in black and red. I’m 5’6” and about 155 lbs with huge hips and a tiny waist so nothing usually fits properly. I bought this in a medium after reading some of the reviews. It fits my stomach and hips perfectly but for the shoulders area it looks pretty ridiculous. It’s huge in the upper arms, upper back, shoulder area and looks like I borrowed one of my bf’s jackets. However, if you get past that, this jacket is awesome!!! It’s really warm, has thumb holes so you can put those over your gloves and no wind or cold air gets in your arms. The fleece is very low and dense and the outside is pretty much waterproof. I’ve gone out in the rain when it’s cold and my arms and torso were totally dry. The pockets are so freaking awesome and are super useful for whether I’m on my road bike or my mtb. I have more than enough room to throw a hoodie on under it or a long sleeved jersey. I bike to work in the mornings and in 40 degree weather, I start off chilly in it and warm up perfectly without anything besides a shirt underneath it. It’s so comfortable, warm and handy, I wear it off the bike all the time. My boyfriend is jealous of this and wants to get one for himself although now it’s warm out so he’ll wait till next season. Can’t recommend enough for the ladies as long as you can get past the tomboy large shoulder look.

Warm – Comfortable – Cool style
Love this jacket. Took it with me to Alaska and it kept me warm while looking cool. The inner fleece is very warm and soft. Love the pull out hand glove warmers, definitely came in ‘handy’ . I will say the bottom zipper is a little hard to zip, but not bad. I will wear this for years to come, i would recommend.Size was perfect for me. Got a medium and I’m 6′ 170lbs athletic slim build.

Quick delivery of what appears to be a quality product at a very reasonable cost, and it fits well — always a question when purchasing a China-sourced product.I am deducting one star in anticipation of the countless seconds I will waste over the lifetime of this jacket as, while literally every other jacket I own has the zipper pull on the right, the makers of this one decided to put theirs on the left.This will be a constant irritation on what otherwise is a very nice cool-weather bicycling jacket.Note after wearing a bit; the wind flap is so thin that it constantly catches in the cheap, left-handed, Asian-sourced zipper. Several time now, I have had to take it off like a pullover.Also, the thumb-loop cuffs are sewn so close to the sleeve end that none of my cycling gloves work with it; so it is, in effect, a sleeve cuff with a permanent hole in it.Deducting another star for the irritation.
