Haven’t Needed to Use so Far, but Glad it’s on My Pup!
Iâm so impressed with the Ring Lost Dog Tag and the accompanying online profile. Itâs honestly been one of the best investments Iâve made for my dogâs safety. The tag itself is lightweight, durable, and easy to attach to my dogâs collar. I love that it’s not bulky like traditional ID tags, so it doesn’t bother my dog at all. What really sets this apart is the online profile feature. When I registered my dogâs tag, I was able to fill out a detailed profile with his name, contact information, vet details, and even any special needs or behavior notes. If my dog were ever lost, anyone who finds him could scan the tag with their smartphone and instantly access his profile. Itâs such a great way to ensure a quick reunion, and I feel much more at ease knowing my pup is always just a scan away from being safely returned home. The peace of mind this tag provides is priceless. I never worry as much about my dog getting lost because I know the Ring Lost Dog Tag is a reliable backup. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to go beyond traditional tags and give their dog an extra layer of safety. Itâs simple, effective, and gives you confidence as a pet owner!

Easy and Effective
What a LIFESAVER!! So easy to setup and add to pet collar (lite weight). They work very well too! Added to my catâs collar, and next day received a call from a neighbor advising he was at their house (begging for treats no doubt)! No concerns about water or electronics getting damaged. All somebody needs to do is point their phone camera at QR code (really didnât even need to touch my cat) to get immediate pet and contact info. No fees or subscriptions, Thank goodness. Donât hesitate, no need for chip scanning at vet, owner can be contacted immediately! All three of my pets have one. Great gift for all pet owners too! *Can be reassigned to different pet. Only Complaint: I wish they offered smaller sizes for small animals. Would be huge on a kitten or small/young cat. Thank goodness all mine are beastsð

Easy to setup. Works as expected.
Though the Ring pet tag is made of a fairly lightweight plastic, we’ve had it on my Boxer’s collar for several months now and it’s nonetheless worse for the wear. Setting it up was a snap and it’s nice that you can include all sorts of pet specific information on the pet profile screen including multiple pictures, dog age, weight, medical / dietary info., etc. And the way the notification process works if your pet is found, is that when the finder scans the barcode, the notification you receive is sent anonymously, meaning that the “finders” phone number is not shared. Also, there is a “Lost Pet Mode” feature that sends out to other Ring Users in the area. It’s a very simple system, and we already have another GPS tracking device (the “Fi” collar) that will also help us geo-locate him if he does go beyond our property.

So Far So Good
These are nice tags; not flimsy metal like rabies or license tags. Set up was easy and my boys are wearing them. Thankfully I haven’t had to use them but glad I have them. Anyone finding your pet will not need the app to scan the tag and get your info making it even easier for you to get your fur baby back. All my new pets will be getting this tag. I’m even thinking of buying some for horses to be braided into their manes in the event of emergencies.. in case they spook at our annual wild fires and get away. These are perfect for that… Much more info than you can write on their hooves or paint on their sides.

Easy to use, and works!!!
Iâm writing my review after having this tag since July! This was our dog and his first time getting out. We just moved to a neighborhood from the country and I knew there could be this chance. We have him microchipped but I needed extra comfort knowing he is safe when found and easy to contact me. This worked wonderfully! Iâve seen people say it rubs off but I donât care I will re order when it starts to and be sure I keep it updated! It doesnât show your personal information, just a button that lets the people know to contact the human and I really love that. You also are notified as soon as the QR is scanned! Definitely try it out and itâs a great price!
