Works with RFID feeders, and matches our little trash goblinâs purple collar nicely.
Simply put, our cat Skidd uses an RFID feeder, and he lost his collar. The last time we had a collar go missingâhis sisterâsâit was missing for a couple weeks before we broke down and bought new tags. This time, we couldnât afford to wait, because Skidd needed to access his food. We bought two of these tags for the price of one branded tag. The color, although itâs described as âblue,â is actually more of a lavender or warm periwinkle, and it fits with his purple collar and tag quite stylishly.His missing collar turned up the day after we placed the order. Meh. These tags work with his feeder. Now we have spares for when he inevitably decides he needs to be naked and free again.

I got these tags to test my Pet Safe cat door, since my cat seemed to have problems coming in. The tags programmed easily and worked perfectly. So i now have an education issue to solve….

Bigger than I expected
Since this was advertised as a cat RFID tag, I was expecting it to be a bit smaller. But maybe that was just my misperception. Works great with the SureFeed pet feeder so far.

I had to replace the original collar chips for the surefeed pet feeder and these work perfectly with it! It pairs just like your pets microchip would.

Works better than the OEM
These seem stronger than the ones from surepet. My cat was having to climb all the way in the tunnel and press herself against the door before the oem one would trigger. These work a expected.

Great but didnât include the rings as pictured.
Iâve bought several of these tags for my cats. They work great with the smart door. But the last time the seller didnât include the rings to attach them to the catâs collar. I had to go to Home Depot to get the rings. Not worth the trouble if the seller is no longer providing the rings.
