Easy to use hair tool. Smooths hair without adding frizz or static. Would give 5 stars if had temp control. Also sometimes my fine hair doesnât grip onto brush well.

Gives an amazing blowout look all day! I have thick long hair and it takes me about 15 minutes to do.Heats up nicely and makes curls last all day

I’m not sure if I’m just used to the one from the 90’s or not, but I would like to be able to crank up the heat on the thicker areas of hair to help keep the curl in a bit better, however it doesn’t make this a bad product.This does well giving some curls and volume, and I can tell that it is helping reduce friz too.

Like it better than a curling iron!
Easy to use and gets hot quickly. I have the two sizes of brush dryers so thought I would try this tool for the days I need a touch up but don’t want curls from a curling iron. This works great to give me the soft touch up to layers and framing around the face without being tight curls.

It gets too hot while using my first one actually burned the bristles
This is my second curling iron same style. While I was on vacation, my first one literally got so hot the bristles melted. I am giving it another chance because I did have it for about a year, but it does get warm while holding it. Itâs the perfect size for what I need . My daughter tried it and said it even smoked so she was leery. Just trying to find a better brand at this time I guess.

Great tool to easily achieve blowout style curls!
So far, I really like this styling tool! I had another one, from a different brand, but my mom has now claimed ownership of it because she loved it so much. As such, Iâve been looking for a replacement, so I was more than happy to give this device a try!So far, here are a few things worth notingâ¦I find it a little strange that thereâs no information on the heat level this device reaches. At least with my other brush, I could choose from five different heat settings, which I really appreciated. This just has one âonâ setting, so it only generates one level of heat, but again, Iâm unclear what that is exactly. Iâve tried looking online and even through the manual and I still couldnât find it. Maybe Iâm just missing something, so I guess it could be me. Secondly, while Iâve read the information online, I am a little unclear exactly what the ion generator setting is. Iâm also unsure how this is different from just the regular âonâ setting if you will. Like are you supposed to switch to the âionâ setting for a final pass through your hair only? I know it helps to smooth frizz, but I guess I donât know if the heat setting is the same for both the âionâ and the âonâ setting. I also couldnât find this information as well.As for the things I like about the device, I appreciate that itâs dual voltage because this means that you can travel abroad (at least within the EU). I recently made a trip abroad and couldnât bring my other device because it wouldnât have been compatible. So, this brush would have come in handy last month! I also really like the tip of the brush because itâs really thick and truly protects you from getting burned. The other styling tool had a tip, but it would get so hot that it was hard to style with at times.Overall, I really like this styling tool because itâs so easy to achieve a blowout look without the hassle of using a round brush and blow dryer. Now, just to note, this device does not blow air rather itâs like having a heated round brush. So, it essentially gives you a very loose style of curl rather than tight curls. If youâre looking for more defined curls, then this likely isnât the device for you. If youâre looking for a sassy little blowout look, give it a try!

Great styler to eliminate frizzy hair and leave hair soft
The REVLON Perfect Match Hot Styler – It’s the best styler I’ve ever tried and I will tell you why.When you look at the product listing photos and description it doesn’t seem much different than other ones sold on Amazon that are half the price.Like a lot of women I have tried many stylers; Ion ceramic blow dryers, Ion ceramic straighteners and Ion ceramic curling irons. What sets this product apart from the others I’ve tried is how quickly it eliminates frizz.It has oil infused on the ceramic base, the bristles are short to prevent tangling and the end of the styler does not heat up which allows you to hold it while styling your hair. Before actually curling my hair with this styler, I brushed my hair with the styler (set to Ion) and within 5 minutes all the frizz was gone and my hair looked soft and manageable – it was pretty amazing! My hair was air dried with no products on it. I then curled my hair and it does take getting used to because the bristles are shorter to grasp the hair and prevent tangling.It has an Ion setting, on setting and off. The Ion setting is for frizzy hair or thin hair. This is strictly like a curling iron with a brush attached and not a blow dryer.It is very lightweight and the cord swivels. The temperature of the styler is perfect. I used a thermal tester and it was approximately 250° which is the right amount of heat not to damage your hair. Some curling irons go up to 400° and no matter what type of hair you have it and even if the base is ceramic – it will damage your hair. It indicates to use it for curling your hair 5 to 10 seconds for thin hair and 10 to 15 seconds for thick hair – per section. Since the barrel is a little on the larger size if using it to curl your hair, this may not work well for anyone whose hair is shorter than shoulder length.With a reputable brand like Revlon, you know you’re getting a true ceramic styler and true ion technology – which really helps to prevent damage when styling your hair.I don’t love every Revlon product I have tried over the years but I did love this one.
