There are some mislabeling issues with this product.Most of the ingredients listed are not organic–out of more than twenty listed ingredients only three are actually organic.As of this writing the Amazon posting mentions that this is a Korean product. There doesnât seem to be any evidence for this.The packaging and bottle of the product lists a distributor in Spain and a consulting firm in UK. There is no mention of Korea as the country of origin.Positives? The dispenser has a pump so that there isnât any cross contamination when using the product.The cream is light and moisturizing. The effects of the retinol were mild (the retinol % of concentration is not listed)Not sure as to the effectiveness since the labeling doesnât appear to be accurate so I have hesitated to use it beyond my initial trial.

The listing says there is coconut extract in the product but I cannot find it in the ingredient list.There are typos in this listing as well as on the box; that is not common with Korean made products.There is no information or indication that this is a Korean made product (listed as country of origin on this page), there is no manufacturing information on the box or the product, only EC, UK and FR distributors.While there are some good ingredients in this product, I still have low confidence in this product since the ingredients are misrepresented as is the label’s 100% organic claim.

Rose scent without roses
As other reviews have said, the ingredients list may not be accurate. What struck me was the lovely rose scent, but the list of ingredients doesn’t contain rose nor artificial scents. So what gives it the rose scent?The last two ingredients on the list, where one would expect artificial scents to be listed since they would be a small percentage of the volume, instead have Xanthan Gum and Citric Acid which I happen to have experience with and know they don’t smell like roses. (I use Xanthan Gum in some of my keto recipes, and I use Citric Acid to clean my toilets and dishwasher.)At the minimum, the ingredients list is missing some ingredients. By the way, the listing says it has a jasmine and rose scent. Jasmine was also not included in the ingredients.The cream itself is thick and absorbs well, leaving my skin soft. I didn’t have any burning or itching which retinol products can sometimes cause on my skin. Time will tell if it brightens my complexion.

Can’t Confirm Country of Origin or Cruelty Free Claim – NOT 100% Organic
Upon review of the ingredients of this Retinol Complex product from REVANEL, it does not appear to me that this is a 100% organic product and there is no indication that this product is Cruelty Free.The product box had a cello covering; the jar itself had no seal of any kind. Product smells amazing and is a fluffy white cream. I am testing this product on the back of my hand and it took about 5 minutes to absorb 100% once rubbed in. My skin is silky soft and after 30 minutes, no irritation.

There are also chemicals that I would not put on my face listed on the ingredient list. This product is not 100% organic as advertised and stated on the box.Revanel is a company that is registered in California, but this address is not listed on the box. The box lists a distributor in Spain with a Hotmail email address and a consulting company in the UK. While the description page states that the country of origin is Korea, there is no evidence that this product was made in Korea. I purchase a lot of skincare products that are made in Korea and the packaging ALWAYS states that the product is made in Korea. I do not trust this Revanel company or anything that is stated in their advertising or listed on their product’s packaging. I would never use this product on my body. DO NOT Recommend
