I would definitely buy the full sized tube in the future.Why 4 stars instead of 5? I bought the Travel Size just in case I had any issues with the product. I and learned afterward that the travel size was significantly more expensive per ounce (and more expensive overall) than the standard size. If one were buying the product in bulk, I would understand the difference, but the size difference between the travel and standard size bottle is not that much. I’m told that this is the way travel size items are priced, but in this case it doesn’t sit very well with me. I plan to buy the bigger bottle, and if I need to take it with me on a trip I’ll squeeze some into a travel container.

The cleanser comes out tumeric yellow and has that turmeric smell, fortunately, the yellow doesn’t stain my white wash cloths and the turmeric smell fades fast after rinsing.The cleanser is gentle, with a gel texture and not to runny. It doesn’t dry out my face at all, and it’s easy to rinse off. I can’t speak to its ability to remove makeup though, as I don’t wear any.With this cleanser, all you really need is a little drop. I think it’s a nice option, especially for people like me with oily / combination skin who benefit from gel-based cleansers rather than cream-based ones.

Has an Earthy Scent
This travel size turmeric face wash has an earthy scent. It also has an oily feel when you put it in your hands, however the product is not actually oily at all. It cleaned my face very well and gave me lots of suds. Although it’s a travel size, it will last a long time because only a small amount should be used. I don’t quite care for the smell, but the important part is that it’s a good face wash. I would be happier if it had a different scent.

Smells just like tumeric, but on me it’s a little drying
This is a thin yellow gel that smells just like tumeric, so it’s the real deal. Thankfully it doesn’t turn your skin or hands yellow (if you’ve ever cut up real tumeric root you’ll know what I mean). It doesn’t lather very easily so it works best by first lathering it between my hands – it turns white but not foamy – which gives me a moment to also take a deep calming whiff of tumeric from my palms. Then I massage it in and follow by splashing with cold water. Very refreshing! My only hesitation is it leaves my skin feeling a little tight and dry. So I’d say for someone who tends dry, you may want to skip. I think it would be great for a younger person, especially one who likes natural things. It’s made in India.
