The Remington Rechargeable Beard Trimmer Kit is an excellent addition to my grooming routine!I love the convenience of the cordless option, which makes trimming so much easier and hassle-free. Good for touch-ups but not a closer shave
This review is for the “Remington Rechargeable Beard Trimmer Kit”. This shaver set was made in China and ships in a cardboard display box with everything wrapped up neatly within tissue paper inside. The shaver is decent quality with a nice heft in the hand, it must have been fully charged from the factory since the light immediately when solid when I plugged it in. I don’t like that the shaver still uses micro-USB for charging and it’s weird that the nose/ear trimmer still used a battery as opposed to being rechargeable as well. Overall, the pieces worked well and were good enough to tackle some thicker hair to bring it down to a razorable length so as not to destroy a blade. The shaver isn’t good enough to give a clean shave but it’s meant as a beard trimmer and it’s good for that.

Two-fer
Kind of a no brainer here – if what you need is a basic trimmer with adjustable guard that locks, and oh by the way comes with a smaller trimmer for light detail work.Seem to work really well – right out of the box good charge – and no major complaints. As others have said this is a little more suited for someone with an established beard, or one who wants to trim very short – doesn’t seem to do well with the in between lengths. Per the style and position of the blade and adjustable guard, it can cut certain lengths inconsistently.What I don’t like: the nose trimmer attachment. I’ve used a couple of these and this one doesn’t seem to cut as well as other basic attachments.BONUSES: well the small head, extra trimmer that also includes a battery. And the large storage bag, which isn’t as common as one would think. It’s basic, but looks water resistant and is appreciated. And of course, ability to lock the cutting length is a huge win for the larger trimmer, not a lot of others have implemented this game changing feature.All in all for this LIGHT work pair, fairly priced I think, and if these prove to be as durable as other Remingtons i’ve had previously, will be worth it. Having two for 1 is a nice pick up, especially for folks like me who will use them for different purposes, if not separate body parts/areas.

Good basic trimmer
This trimmer is fairly basic but gets the job done. It’s somewhat cheap and doesn’t seem like it’s meant to be used apart from small cleanups of facial hair but it is affordable and can do a decent job. It’s not meant for close, through shaves.

Lightweight trimmer with ok quality
The trimmer pair is good and functional. Very lightweight and easy to carry around during travel. My main concern was with the hygiene of the trimmer as the one I got had some hair or material stuck to the trimmer blade. This is unusual unless a used item was sent so my experience with this one has not been great purely from the item I received.Apart from this, this seems to be a good trimmer.

Not for a close-shave and uses microUSB
This Remington trimmer kit has a great build quality. Everything feels solid. The mechanism to adjust the trim size operates with nice clicks. One thing that I haven’t seen in other -more expensive- trimmers is the ability to lock that piece, so that it wont move during shaving… nice touch.This is definitely for trimming an existing beard that has some length to it…. if you’re looking for a 5 o’clock shadow level but, it won’t give you that even at the lowest setting. The included battery operated nose hair trimmer would come in handy while traveling. The other nice thing about this set is the included pouch that keeps everything together.One big issue I have with it is the use of microUSB charging cable. It’s almost 2025 and everything -including iPhones- has switched to USB-C. Why o why, Remington, stick with an old charging method forcing people to keep ancient cables. Hoping that future versions will update to USB-C.
