Works great, useful attachments, and battery life far exceeds anything else I’ve tried
I’ve used shower trimmers for many years – it’s so convenient to shave my head and beard in the shower, been doing so for many years. I’ve been using the Remington since April, and it is far and away the best one I’ve tried. (The other’s I’ve tried are ok, but have their foibles. They are: Panasonic ER224S Men’s Cordless Wet/Dry Hair, Beard and Body Electric Trimmer and Philips Norelco Bodygroom Series 7100, BG2040.)Outstanding features:* Battery life far beyond anything else I’ve tried – lasts several weeks of daily use, always on high speed. And charges very quickly!* It shaves well – never any nicks but shaves close, for a trimmer, and compact, easy to get to where I need.* Nifty attachments – nose and ear trimmer design is really good, works well. I haven’t tried the foil head, curious about that.* I found a simple arrangement that gets the length I want for my partial beard, but there’s a lot of options including an adjustable head if you need.* Compact – easy to include in my travel kit, even with charging cord (which I usually don’t need).* Seems kinda bullet-proof simple. The blade assembly doesn’t have space to gather residue, so little or no cleaning is required.The general quality of operation together with the extreme run between charging, topped off with the compactness and generally fine design and accessories makes it a real win, and this an unreserved recommendation.

A surprisingly good beard /mustache trimmer.
I purchased this to replace an aging Braun Cruzer. I have owned about 6 trimmers, and am surprised how good this trimmer is. The blade is good quality, and you can tell when you use it. It creates razor sharp lines, and cuts to the set length on the first pass over the area. Since it is advertised as waterproof, it imply that the blades must be stainless steel. The battery is great, and will not come close to being depleted after using on and off for a half an hour. It is advertised with a 3 hour runtime, and it appears to be not far from the truth. The attachments are well designed, and hold their settings well while being used (I’ve seen the length setting slip on cheap trimmers when a lot of pressure is applied). It would be nice if it came with a charging stand, but overall this is a great unit, and a bargain for the price. Recommended.** UPDATE **I have been using this now for 2 weeks. The battery lasts a long time, and the motor has plenty of power. The real difference is the quality of the blades, which are excellent. I am very impressed with this trimmer. Compared with the past couple that I’ve owed, this is a pleasure to use, and the results are noticeably better.

decently priced and works well, but slightly weak
I got this Remington because the previous one I had is missing parts and the battery is getting old. The last one lasted 15 years, so I figured I was safe sticking with Remington. The battery life on this one is insane. I’ve used it at least a half a dozen times and I haven’t had to charge it yet. My only gripe is that the bare blade is weaker than my original Remington. Normally shaving with, then against the hair’s grain causes a cleaner shave. With this model, it doesn’t do as well. That being said, if you use this to trim only or trim before using a razor, it’s great.

TLDR: Excellent quality and value for moneyLook, I’m not sponsored or anything, just a guy that shops for good stuff off Amazon or ebay (if cheaper) and I always search for good quality products and let me tell you, this trimmer is NICE. I can’t speak for the durability as I’ve only had it for a little under 2 weeks but I use it about every other day.Let’s get into the details. This is a trimmer so there isn’t a whole lot to talk about.Pros:- Quality is excellent, feels comfortable to hold and the twist on/off design is a much better one as you’re less likely to break the heads vs snap on/off ones from other brands.- It trims really close, I mean I had another trimmer from Hizek (I don’t see it on Amazon anymore) and this gives me a much closer shave and the blades are sharp so there is no tugging.- Two modes, I find either mode to be powerful enough to cut hair with ease. Having different speeds is good if you need it.- 1.5mm guard, I mean the smallest I had before this was 3mm so having the 1.5mm in this is perfect, as well as the other sizes. Also the nose/eyebrow trimmer is excellent.- Comes with a little pouch/carrying bag. It’s nothing luxurious or screams quality, but it gets the job done and is a nice-to-have that comes with your purchase. I appreciate having it.Cons:- None yet as it is all I need and more for the money.If you’re still looking around for what trimmer set to get, I too was that guy and after reading multiple reviews I settled on this. If you’re shopping for that husband, boyfriend, brother, father, whatever, I think they’d love this as a gift.Maintenance:- Just remember to wash and dry your trimming heads after use and touch a bit of oil on them before putting it back in storage. The lifespan of your tools are highly dependent on the care you give to them.PS. My cheap Hizek one didn’t stop ‘working’, it just wouldn’t turn off and the on/off switch was malfunctioning so I had to get rid of it. Wasn’t worth fixing either. But this is way better quality. Ya varias veces he comprado esta maquina, algunas veces se daña una pieza o algo despues de mucho uso y realmente conviene comprarla de nuevo que buscar la pieza, quizá eso no me encanta.
