This item seemed frivolous so i didn’t have it for my first 3 kiddos but found myself too tired to think this 4th time so splurged. Wished I did it a lot sooner! So easy to use and I love that it’s rechargeable! I don’t have to worry I’ve burnt them since I’m a lover of hot water and the bigger kids find it so cute. Worth it!

Super cool item for knowing water temperature
I ordered this product for use with a newborn infant, but this is a super cool item which can be used throughout life. It would be appropriate for someone whose skin is not sensitive to heat, to ensure they don’t get into a scalding bath, and it would also be great for the elderly so that they can know exactly the temperature of their bath water before stepping in, to help avoid injury.First of all, this is a very cute bath thermometer, a light gray baby seal with a nicely formed face. The design is wonderful: it floats face up as it should so that you can see the thermometer, and the electronics do not get damaged by water (no need to ensure some flimsy compartment stays shut).Second, it works exactly as promised… it turned on almost immediately once placed in the water and it continued to monitor water temperature so that I would know when the temperature was too hot or cool at the start and then I could continue to see the temp so I’d know when it becomes too cool. The ring on the seal’s belly changes color depending on water temperature… red is too hot (at or above 102.2 F), green is ideal, and blue is likely too cool (at or below 96.8 F), and it is accurate within +/-2 degrees F. The display also shows the temperature digitally (i.e. 83).Once I took the thermometer out of the water, the temperature immediately started declining until it turned off within 30 seconds. It will also turn off after 20 minutes in the water, so that’s a good indication that bath time is up! The digital display will also reflect battery life, so you’ll when its time to recharge; a USB cable is included (but not the charging block that it plugs into; I guess manufacturer’s assume we have plenty of these lying around our homes).I am very pleased with this cute seal thermometer and highly recommend it!

Beyond cute, charging is a challenge.
When I read magnet charger, I thought … awesome… I can charge this on my apple charger on my nightstand. NOPE. It comes with a tiny mag charger that is specific to this item You have to dig out a charging block and get it to attach just right. That’s more of a pain than it sounds. We ordered this one thinking it would be super easy to charge but it adds an extra layer of nuisance when you need to locate the proprietary charging cord and then hope you did not lose it.Otherwise, it is adorable. We will probably find it floating dead and uncharged one day when we lose the charger – which is inevitable if you have kids. At least it will be cute.

I got this rechargeable bath thermometer for my own baths! It’s nice to know exactly what temperature your bath is at, and to learn which temperature you like it to be. Knowledge is power, especially when we’re out of our element. Anyway, it charged up quickly and was easy to use. The display is easy to read and seems to accurately detect the water temperature. Overall, I’d recommend it.

This thermometer is a cute, adorable way to measure the water temperature in an easy-to-use display. The colored ring quickly shows whenever the water is close to body temperature when green, making your kid feel comfortable in the bath. When it’s blue, the water is cold; when it’s red, it is too hot. It has a rechargeable battery, so you don’t have to worry about misplacing batteries. It charges quickly with the included cable. It has a battery charge indicator, so you know when it should be charged again. It floats at the top of the water, too. The temperature seems accurate enough from feeling the water. Since the product feels durable, you don’t have to worry about your kid breaking it. It also automatically turns itself on when in water and off when it’s out. You have to take out the thermometer whenever you’re done using it in the water, or it will stay on until the water evaporates in the tub.

A cute thermometer makes my bath time happy
Making a nice temperature bath was challenging for me. It is tense to be too hot or not warm enough. It takes time to be ready to get into the bate tab. This cute thermometer changed my bath life! Just throw it into the tab while pouring water. No complication. It shows different colors (Blue, Green, Red) with temperature. For me, as an adult, Red (104F) is perfect. A half-body bath for 20 minutes makes me sweat from the inside and helps excellent circulation. If the water temperature is too high, only the body’s surface gets hot, making your skin dry tho.Since this little guy came, I’ve been having perfect bath time. I highly recommend it for babies and kids as well as adults!
