Rael Tampons are pretty good! I like that theyâre made with organic cotton and donât have any weird chemicals like BPA or chlorine. The compact applicator is easy to use, and they work well for everyday use. I even wore them while swimming, and they worked perfectlyâno leaks at all

After all of the studies coming out about big, well known tampon/pad brands having forever chemicals and toxic metals in them, I was on the hunt for a good, organic dupe. Iâve been a Playtex Sport girly all my life, and I needed an organic tampon brand that had a solid applicator and was comfortable. These Rael tampons are the closest thing! The absorbency is different, but I assume that itâs because itâs organic cotton. The Super is more similar to a Regular in Playtex, and the Regular is more like a Light. Just something to keep in mind, but I love these! Iâve made the permanent switch over!

GETS STUCK!!
Not like you thinkâ¦but hopefully I got your attention. I love these tampons. Everything from the absorbency and protection of leaks to comfort and style of packaging. Hello?! That Mauve color and pearl white applicator? Itâs so pretty I almost feel guilty using it! Donât get me started on the texture of the paperð¤The one thing that really sucks about the compact applicatorsâ¦is the cotton gets stuck in the inner tube. Or as some say- the plunger. When Iâm at home I can usually find something to stick in there and push the cotton down to keep it inside the inter tube so that it can be pushed forward. But when youâre out and about and in a hurry, or thatâs the last tampon you have and it doesnât properly insert or worse you fumble it and it falls on the groundâ¦youâre gonna be pretty pissed! Not to mention these things arenât cheap. So itâs like throwing away money!Iâm going to try the old school style. Just ordered the full size ones. You know? The ones you donât have to pull apart to make a full size tampon? Yea, Iâm sure Iâll have better luck that way. But of course Iâd rather all the tampons worked properly the first time because I prefer the compact size. Hopefully theyâll work on that, cause I do love this brand.

Stayed on even after intense workout!
I do CrossFit on my period, and Iâve always used a tampon, but I could never find one that didnât feel uncomfortable after some time. Iâve purchased this one after seeing the good reviews and Iâm glad I did. The tampon stayed on even after the intense workout, and even before application, the cotton looked durable and thick. This is going in my must haves, and I am recommending for all of my sporty girlies, who wonât let their period stop them from reaching their fitness goals.

The quest for a perfect organic product is a chore. The quest for a perfect organic tampon is equivalent to the search for the Holy Grail. These tampons were my Holy Grail of Organic Tampons. Were. As in, used to be, previously, former.After coming across these magical little plugs, I would order them in bulk, so I had a nice little stash squirrelled away in my bathroom cabinet. Not toilet paper in March of 2020 aggressive, but enough to last me through a few supply chain shortages. They were perfect. Easy to insert, comfortable, stayed put, and didn’t leak (much…some times it wouldn’t matter if you had a whole cotton field up there, but, ces’t la vie). Last week, I noticed I was down to a box, so I placed another order. When Aunt Rosa knocked on my door, I wanted to be ready for her arrival.Her scheduled stay lapsed a bit longer than usual this week (I’m assuming her flight was cancelled over the July 4 weekend), and I had to crack into an extra box to accommodate her. As I pulled the tab across the top of the package, I noticed that the wrapper had changed, and I was happy that they’d switched from plastic to paper. Cool, I thought, I feel even better about using these than I did.That feeling was incredibly short lived as my fingers grasped the paper, gave it a satisfying rip, only to discover that my beloved applicator had also changed. It went from King Arthur strong to court jester flimsy. WTF, I thought to myself, why would they do that? Well, at least the tampon is the same, I suppose I’ll make do. I consoled myself with that thought as I went to insert it.But I could feel it right away. This WASN’T the same. My insides were screaming out, FOREIGN INVADER! WHO LET THIS PIECE OF TRASH IN HERE??? With shame, I pulled the tampon out, and trudged over to my purse to try and find an errant remnant of what had now become my past period life to appease my angry lady bits.At this point, I can’t order these anymore, and will no longer recommend them to anyone. The new design is like a Tyra makeover: No one asked for it, no one wanted it, and certainly everyone thinks they’re worse for having done it.If you bring back the old ones, please let me know. I’ll be on my horse, wandering through the desert, trying to find my new Holy Grail tampon, hoping it doesn’t turn into another mirage.

I tend to have issues with the applicators, making it difficult to use or causing me to not be able to use them. Other than that, theyâre decent.

Iâve struggled with tampons for a long time, I just donât get on with most (even though Iâve had 2 children!), think itâs a combination of the applicators and the fact there are all sorts of nasties in the regular tampons. These are perfect for me, the applicators are nice and slim with a good grip and the tampons themselves are as effective as any other. Iâve tried some other organic ones but these, for me, are the best.

The good thing is that it does have an applicator but super is NOT super. Have to change these ever 2 hours sometimes 1. Which is ridiculous, have to wear a liner with these as you will defo leak if you have a heavy flow.Wouldnât buy again so disappointing.
