    Dog loved it!
My dog went crazy for this! She’s a small Rottweiler and super chewer. Toys don’t last longer than a day; most balls get about a month maybe. So, this giant ball kept her entertained biting at it, rolling over it, “dominating” it (yes, she showed it whos daddy), flinging it around, etc. I have to say for her, it lasted a good long time. I think if I’d aired it up a bit more it could have lasted longer. Ok, the cover needs to be on prior to starting inflation! I’m the idiot that tried airing up then putting the cover on not noticing the zipper if super small. Make sure to line up the zipper w/ the air hole to air it back up from time to time. The fabric is sturdy IF the ball in mega inflated which again, I don’t think I did b/c it scared me. However, my dog was able to finally rip a hole in it when she got ahold of a good crease. After that, the fabric tore and kept shredding at a slow pace. The pump is flimsy. Don’t use it. Great if you need a leg workout but who does that?! Point is, better off using a mattress pump or something electric. Faster and easier. The ball material itself held up very well to dog claws. Once she was able to finally pop it, it tore apart w/ easy! Grab those small pieces ASAP! I didn’t mind at all and will 100% order another b/c of the joy it brought her. If they came in other colors, I buy those as well.totally 100% recommended for dogs medium to large size that love big balls.

    Heavy duty but cheap zipper
I have a 90lb german shepherd who loves this thing. He doesnt herd it, he just straight up attacks it lol. The double stitched cover keeps it from puncturing but is seeing some wear after a couple weeks of use, mostly along the seams. The zipper sucks though, and has already broken off. Not a problem that makes it unusable, but definitely something that makes it both more dangerous to use and more likely to pop.Really fun though, dog loves it.

My two 95 pound Belgian Malinois love their new ball. Had it for a week and no issues so far.
My Mals have had smaller, plastic balls to push around the yard and I thought this would be a better option because of the size. Some of the reviews say it didn’t last very long and pops easily. So far, no problems. But they do bite at it so not sure about it long term. We’ll see.Update on 8/2424: After one month of use, the ball is still intact, but their is a serious problem with the zipper/seam, which has totally failed. We tried to sew a piece of canvas over the seam because the zipper is totally trashed and can no longer be closed. Our dogs located the seam and tried to pick it up by that seam. Hence the attempt to fix with a piece of canvas sewed to the cover. That solution lasted about 10 minutes. We have now taken a piece of adhesive canvas which I originally purchased to augment the seat cover in my truck and affixed it over the seam. It’s getting dog-eared already after a couple days of use. The best option would have been for me to attach the adhesive canvas over the seam prior to first use. May end up ordering a new cover, if one is even available.

    ball obsessed dog loves this!
I have a ball obsessed bulldog who could run after a ball all day (til she’s top winded). This ball is perfect! She can play and entertain herself, or I launch it myself and she bounces it off her head or rams head first into it. It’s very durable, but she’s also a chewer so we have been through a few covers over thr last several months bcbshe chews where the zipper is. No way around that and not a fault of the product. Canvas is very sturdy. Despite her chewing in zipper area the canvas itself has held up.

Both of my dogs love this so much!
First, the ball has to be inflated to spec. That means closing the zipper will require effort. If it’s easy to close, it’s not inflated enough. Once my wife says, “I think it’s a little low.” Of course I say, “it’s fine”, and within 2 minutes my little pittie punctured it. No worries. It’s easy to deflate, patch (included), and reinflate. I use a battery powered inflator because inflating by hand would take approximately a week.Assuming that it is inflated, both my 50 pound pit bull terrier and my 90 pound American Bully can’t bite it. The big one likes to chase it and grab it with his front legs. Sometimes he’s going so fast he goes over the top. The little one chases it in circles, pushing it with her face with absolutely no concern for her own safety. We have to regulate their time with it (one at a time and no more than 10 minutes). Afterward they are warn out.We have not tried to teach them to herd. That was never the intent. They just love it as a big toy. The big one will whine and paw at the door to the garage where we keep it. If it ever fails I will buy another one. We have had several supervised play sessions without any issues (aside from the one low inflation issue). Just follow all the instructions, supervise your dog, and maintain the ball (check the inflation) and it should last a long time.

    Save your money!
I have purchased two of these now and I will never buy them again because the pups play with them all the time but the zipper gets stuck and you can never get it undone so what’s the point completely pointless? The canvas is cheap doesn’t last I wouldn’t bother I buy other kinds of large balls. You can see my other reviews if I’m gonna spend 70 $80 on something I expect it to last a little bit and this was a complete failure, but I didn’t use it as I used it as a toy that I would play with the dogs in the yard I would kick it around and they’d run after it so pick that into consideration when you read my review

Ball leaked right out of the box. Zipper jammed on cover.
Followed instructions. Inflated to the measured diameter. Capped and it was clearly soft the next day and continued to lose air from there. Zipper for the cover stuck closed and broken the tool provided to open it – while trying to open it.Cover looks tough and like it will stand up to abuse. Unfortunately zipper too touch to open again and ball not tough enough.

It did not come with the indicated plug to ensure ball stays inflated. Have to top it up daily in order for it to be properly inflated which is extremely annoying as you have to juggle opening and closing the protective cover to do so.

It’s a challenge to assemble – not sure about durability yet. My Australian Cattle Dog gave himself a workout.

I was looking forward too this for my Boston Terrier, sadly this did not come with any plugs to install after inflating the ball, therefore causing the ball to deflate and I have to reinstate everything she wants to use it. Save yourself the money and go with a different manufacturer.
