UPDATED REVIEW 11/9!! – Well, this is a humbling lesson for me, and I hope I learn it: to NOT jump right to review-writing before I’ve fully explored the product. Sad (and embarrassing) story short, this charger works great. When I left my first review, I was not aware that you have to plug the two charger bits into one another before you plug them into your Kindle – and I have no excuse for this because the manufacturers do indeed include a helpful slip of paper explaining this little idiosyncrasy. I just simply missed it, got frustrated and hauled off with a one-star review. I TAKE IT ALL BACK!!! This charger works GREAT!! And it’s an especially useful charger, with the two different charger ends (that plug into one another) because this will also charge my Android phone as well as my Kindle. SO!! I am dumb, but the makers of this great little charger are not. The End. >> This is NOT the same charger I bought earlier this year. This charger does NOT charge my Kindle Fire HD 10 Plus (11th Generation 2021 Release). DO NOT BE FOOLED if this is your Kindle Fire tablet, this charger WILL. NOT. WORK. Complete waste of money.

My dad is on dialysis. I gave him my Fire tablet to watch Netflix while heâs on the machine. Then it suddenly stopped working. We determined it was the charger that quit. I was able to get this one quick and he was able to use the tablet again.

Fast charging and versatile
This is a great charger for my older Kindle fire. It takes about an hour to charge it fully, which is faster than the charging cable I was using. It also has a USB-C connector and I didnât catch that feature when I ordered it. I have charged a portable speaker with that and it was fully charged in about 30 minutes. The fewer cables to manage, the better! I just ordered a second one to keep at work since the newer iPhones use the USB-C and someone is always looking for a charger at work.

Great battery life, looks great, educational and fun for our little one, and most important, safety features so we the parents can always make sure our kid is using it safely (from an app on our phone). Oh! Did I mention our daughter loves it!!! The only thing I didn’t like is the fact I couldn’t give it more than 5 ð because it’s definitely worth more than 5 ð

I didnât like that I had to reset it and itâs taken some time. However this is the early Fire tablet 10 and itâs still working fine. It was very inexpensive toreplace the original cord so I think itâs worth it.Iâm happy with it because I didnât have to buy another one for the same purpose.
